If you were the judge and based off of this info about the parents who would you choose to have full custody once the child is born.

You have to choose ONE to have primary custody of the child because the two simply refuse to do joint custody.

Father: White male 31 years old. Graduated from John Hopkins in Public Health and finished medical school at NYU. He is currently finishing his residency at a hospital. Was a humanitarian relief worker during the Haitian earthquake. Comes from a good family, both parents are lawyers and has loving siblings. Makes $50,000/year as a resident doctor currently but once finished with residency will be making $200,000/year. Busy schedule, often working overtime treating patients. He is requesting full custody. Has an apartment which he rents and is financially stable and has enough saved to purchase a home.

Mother: Black female 26 years old. Graduated from university with a masters degree in Anthropology and African American studies. Currently working as a docent in a museum. Makes less than $20,000/year with no foreseen increase in salary. Lives with her parents, but is trying to save money to afford a home. Comes from a nice family. Father was a garbage collector and mother was a bus driver. Both are retired. Has a flexible schedule and rarely ever works overtime. Is not financially stable.

Educated : " having an education; especially : having an education beyond the average"

For me and my family it;s very important. The more educated the more likely I am to be attracted to the person. Education adds so much more value and substance to the person.


1) I find any hardworking person who works in a legal field highly respectful.


2) But having an educated man would mean that we will have much more quality discussion and legit experiences to share.


3) Being Educated in one thing without having open horizons about different fields is not that much of a big deal. For example if he's only highly educated in Mathematics and has no clue about other things going on in the world, it's not a turn on.


4) I don't know how things work in other countries, but in France, when I was in Med school and currently in Law University , we tend to have a different subjects that cover many different fields (for example we don't study law or Medicine exclusively, we also study about Philosophy, History, developing a critical and analytical thinking etc...). I think it's important for me to be with a man who's mind is flexible and educated in different sectors.


5) When I say educated, I mean University/College and book educated, not internet and CNN educated.
