I help my ex with money when he was my boyfriend.
he is poor.

he broke up with me
he says we have no future because I don’t have a career and he has no job & too old to start anything in his view

he didn’t care to hurt me even if I said I didn’t care if he was poor.

I understand this we have nothing but it doesn’t mean we can’t try. In my view

he doesn’t want to work a regular low paying job he sees it as losers do that.

I had to beg him to be my friend, after the break up. he didn’t want to even talk to me.
i begged only until I could feel better. he blocks me a lot of I say things that make him mad and I have to repeatedly bag him to unblock me because I’m lonely.

having someone to talk to helps and I don’t have money to be paying a therapist.

I have money because my parents have money.

fast forward to today, i am still depressed but feel less sad on days we talk

sometimes he makes me more sad but overall at least I have someone to talk with

his mom suddenly became sick.
since he is poor he can’t afford to go to specialists and can only receive the medical attention that is free

she’s been in the hospital more than a week now,

still no answers on what is wrong and the situation is getting worse

she has pain, losing her vision & today they diagnose her with COVID

No answers on the initial problem but now gave her COVID. She did not have it when she got there.

he asked me if I could help him with money again
so that he can take her to a hospital in a better city

QUESTION:
would you Help him with money if you were me?

he’s obviously not going to pay me back because he’s Poor

i was saving money to do surgery on myself for aesthetic reasons.

somehow feels selfish to say no and then use the money I have to make myself look better.
if his mom gets sicker or dies I would feel guilty even though it’s not my responsibility.

what would you do?

would like to know your opinion on one minor problem. My boyfriend and I broke up a week ago. (Yes, a week before Valentine's Day!). In fact, he broke up with me. However, I do not understand the reason... You know, the relationship was very nice for me, and I'm afraid I won't have a match like that anymore. To describe it to you, this guy fought for me for 3 months until we finally got together. I think it was all honest on his part that he liked me. The strangest thing is that we are from one city, and when we were were we did the same activities. We trained together at the same sport club, but I don't remember him, only he remembers me. However, after 10 years, we met again and even found that we were studying the same thing and had the same ambitions. He was my best friend, support, lover and we just complemented each other. After half a year of relationship, he told me from day to day that he didn't want a relationship. He told me that he wanted to be alone, to focus on himself. I'm sure he doesn't have anyone else because we were together every day and it was always great until that day. It was a huge shock to me because the day before he called me from work saying that he missed me and that he loved me. I don't know what happened. It hurts me and I don't want it to end like this because it was too muchIt hurts me and I don't want it to end like this because it was too perfect.. He told me that there was no mistake in me, that he still liked me, but that he didn't know how to change his feelings. I would like to ask you what would you do in my place? Will I start to miss him? I don't want this to be our end.

Before I met my online boyfriend. I would post questions or my rants about how my mom would yell at me and my roommate brother not wanting to be around me.

I have no friends and living in the middle of nowhere in a small town. There’s not much options of activities and therapy. So my routine would be sleeping and eating to get through the day. Sometimes chores with my brother getting annoyed with me asking for help. Then my mom yelling and dumping her problems on me about her marriage, life and frustrations.

This was my life before I met my boyfriend.

Now recently, my boyfriend has been busy with his life. To the point he has put his phone 📱 on silent. That I cannot reach him anymore. This was a wake up call that I really need professional help in my life.

As my boyfriend called me back, I explained that we should end our relationship. Because I feel him becoming more and more distant. I also told him it’s probably my fault and I’m suffocating him. Cause of my life/family drama. Which is overwhelming for him.

That he made a comment: “listen, I know you have been dealing with this drama from your family for 30 years. But I cannot give you my advice or opinion. Because it’s your family and you love them. I can only listen.”
