in short, Jerry and Dustin work at Walmart. Jerry is 200k in debt from college and only the low paying jobs hired him and he makes less than ten dollars an hour. Dustin, despite being a high school dropout, a foster child and a cross dresser makes 24 dollars an hour plus benefits. Jerry gets so angry he tells Dustin that he looks awful, he's worthless, talks about his mom being a whore and made him cry. Jerry gets fired from his job.

Dustin went to work as normal and was so embarrassed about crying and running away he took two days off. A week later Dustin and Jerry cross paths while going into the store. Dustin feels scared, nervous and tries to get away fast. Jerry grabs Dustin by the hand and says look man, I'm sorry forgive me. Jerry explains to Dustin why he was angry and how he's sorry. He even offers to take Dustin to the movies and tells him how he's a good artist. Dustin smiles, feels happy and giggles a little. He helps Jerry write a résumé, promotes him, finds internship programs for him, and tries to steer him in the right path. Two months later Jerry gets another job making 21 dollars an hour and he's so overjoyed he hugs Dustin tightly. Dustin chuckles a little and says your welcome.
