It seems like our public and even our University education system, is more all about having the best grades possible and trying to impossibly memorize almost single material you've learned in such a short time period for exams, rather than trying to take the time to actually really learn the materials and understand their concepts. I think it's a joke how University/College education forces us to take useless classes that have absolutely nothing to with our majors and according to them, it's to make students more "well-rounded" in their education, which I call BS. The harsh reality is that It's more about filling up their pockets with more money and screwing them over with student loan debts than to make them "well-rounded" in their education.

People often point out how the vast majority of the world's smartest and most successful people of today are often US University College-educated but I'm betting my life saving's that many of these very smart and successful people who successfully finished their University education are mostly foreigners from Asia and Europe, who are already ahead of their public/general education (while they're still trying to improve their English for the country that they're studying in) from their country of origin than the majority of Americans.
