I’ve lost 25 lbs in the last 1.5 years and I really have no concept of how I appear to others. I dress like every other guy and I usually sit at my seat without saying much.

I’m in college, and I’ve noticed a few girls watching me more often than before. In my Monday class I noticed this one girl turning her head and looking over at me multiple times. The next class I walked in and saw her and a couple of other girls look at me and watch me as I walked to my seat at the back of the class.

In another class on Monday, I walk into class and see this girl who is already sitting looking at me, she turns and looks at her friends. I’m still walking in and she looks back at me and stares at me, I look back at her for less than a second and she doesn’t break eye contact and still looks after I look away. Thing is that she is a friend of the girl that I like, who knew I liked her, but that was a year ago and I doubt she knows how I feel now. I also doubt that this girl knows I liked her friend, since we’ve never met before this semester and I don't know how she’d know. But she does sit next to her friend who also knows the girl I like very well.

In class today we were watching a movie and I was with a few of my friends watching it and just having fun but during it one person made a joke when me and my friend who is a guy got close because of outlet desks. They said daniel you should snuggle with Sam and it was as a joke and he went eh I don't want to do that with Sam. Then I heard him say your face is nasty though it didn't seem a joke because I said what to make sure I heard right and he repeated it. Then a bit later I was talking with a few other people and one of the a friend of mine who is a girl, we made brief eye contact and she went dam your disgusting. It may have been a joke because perhaps she would say a joke like that but it still hurt. I always get told I look good or fine on here so what's up. Why does this happen to me?
