Pretty basic question. Really pissed because jealousy destroyed things with someone I had been talking to for the past 6 months. He and I complemented each other on every level... but at some point, without me realizing it, he began to get jealous of my interactions with one of his friends. When I tried to be diplomatic and ask him why this was, he made it seem like he didn't care. He went from calling me sweety and babe to "hey man, it's all cool. you and *guys name* should just get married-- you'd work out great together." When I told him I didn't see his friend that way and that I just like verbally sparring with him-- he nonchalantly responded with "yeah, I'm sure it turns you on". What the heck? Is he jealous and just playing it down or does he really think so little of me (like I'm dispensible) that he thinks it's okay (or at least it doesn't bother him) to pass me around to his friends? Someone--please help me figure this out? :( I sort of blew up on him and we haven't talked since this conversation.
