So for about 3 weeks, I've been acting really weird around her.

- Barely able to make eye contact with her
- I find that there's some feeling I have around her, I can sense it but I can't feel it
- I feel more empathetic for her than any one else.
- I get nervous around her
- I sometimes ignore her

So what's wrong with me and why am I acting so weird around her?

Recently, I had to come clean to my best friend (female) that I love her. She had been in a relationship the entire time we have known each other (six years) and I have felt this way for the last few (it didn't happen right away when we met, it happened over time), and it seems that she's ready for another one because she came close to becoming committed with someone else, who it turns out was just using her. She said she doesn't have feelings for me, which I understand being that she was in a relationship as long as we have known each other and hasn't had the chance to see me as more than a friend, but she isn't willing to give things a shot and see where things go.

So ladies, if the following was your situation, would you consider trying things out to see if your feelings would change over time, or completely dismiss the situation since you don't feel that way right now?

-You have a strong friendship with this person, you're best friends
-Amazing sex (yes, we started hooking up a few months after she got dumped), everything is there sexually
-Your family and friends all like him
-He's extremely intelligent
-You think that he's a great guy
-He's always been there for you when you need someone to talk to, and the only guy in your life who's been there for you no matter what
-You know that he he loves you, that he would never hurt or use you and that he'd be serious about you
-Unfortunately, he can't stand to see you with someone else again because it hurts him too much and the friendship would end anyways
-You've identified that the only thing wrong is that you don't feel that way (but have you really had the opportunity to feel that way given how things have worked out and you only found out a couple months ago that he has feelings for you and had no idea he felt that way prior to him telling you)

Would you be willing to see where things go with this guy? Would you see it as a promising opportunity to develop a great relationship? Why or why not?

So I recently was able to tell one of my friends (who's a girl) has a crush on me. Ever since I was able to tell that, I feel a morph in my heart. It's impossible to explain. For one, I suddenly began to get over my crush of 3.5 years, and now I find myself becoming socially awkward around her. Now, I can feel myself beginning to care for her more than normally. Even though I can feel all this happening, my heart doesn't leap out when I see her like it normally does when I come in contact with my crush. Is it possible to like someone sub-consciously and am I beginning to like her?
