Hello. Tomorrow is my daughters 16th birthday. Last weekend was her cousins birthday and she went on a road trip to an out of state amusement park and arcade. I gave the 16 year old $150 but she had an extra $70 from Christmas so she had $220, and the 12 year old took $150. They went up Friday and came back Sunday. I gave them enough for food all 3 days, admission to amusement park and enough to play arcade games and extra for souvineers. I figured if the 12 year old ran out, my other daughter can pay for her or someone else in the family. My 16 year old came back with a lot of shit she won from claw machines. My 12 year old didn't come back with much.
My daughter said she wants to go to Dave and Busters tomorrow (its over an hour away) and my husband and I aren't really big on arcades. She said she could get friends to go (my car isn't that big). My 12 year old wants to go as well. I said you guys went to an amusement park and arcade last weekend, and my 16 year old is like "that wasn't for my birthday though, its not fair". Before I gave them money to go to the amusement park last weekend, I asked her if she was fine with a movie and dinner for her birthday because I can't afford two big weekends out and she agreed. Now, she's throwing a tantrum. The movie theater is about 10-15 minutes away. She has been bugging to go see, A dogs purpose but now she doesn't want too. I really don't want to drive over an hour away to go to the arcade, when they were just at one and waste more money! I don't know if i'm being unfair or not. I thought we were in agreement but apparently not. What should I do?
