Most of us have been through a break up and later felt an urge to reconcile. Often, that happens because of loneliness ("a bad relationship is better than no relationship") and, unless it was a horribly destructive relationship, many of us tend to forget or minimize the bad aspects of the relationship. We want to bring back the good times and we just don't think about the bad times that went along with the good times.

If you are considering reconciling with an ex, the prevailing wisdom is "don't do it!" (unless your break up was caused by something that did not reflect on the quality of the relationship, like you started college and were 800 miles apart for four years.) Is the prevailing wisdom right? Is it a bad idea? What was your experience if you ever tried to reconcile with an ex?

So long title but basically my family want me to go back into helping in volunteering and I said that it isn't mandatory, there is a reason it is Volunteer work, but it is also true I need the hours as work experience for college.

So I said that it wasn't that I didn't want to help them but because I wanted to stay safe and not interact with people outside of the house.

Now, I am completely uncomfortable with the way they have just set me up and told me I am going there next week, but I am also uncomfortable because we need photo evidence for our work... So who is gonna take the photos when we can't give each other our phones to use AND what do I do if I need help on certain parts, AND what do they do if I have a seizure on site, they can't go up to me past 2 metres, right? What would happen?

So there is a lot going on inside my head right now and it has me rather stressed, I just wanted to unwind on here and see what everyone else think I should do, my parents said that if I was really against it by next week then they can't force me to go, I still have a say in it but I am extremely conflicted between helping the environment and getting hours and keeping safe and preventing catching this incurable illness.

The upside of just staying indoors and staying safe feels like it seriously outweighs the pros of helping at some job that I am not even getting any income from.

For a person who by nature has Paranoia, this event is causing a lot of stress...

Last night, the Timberwolves won the 2020 NBA Draft Lottery's 1st pick. Will they keep this pick or will it be traded? If kept, how do you think their player will do for the franchise? Who do you think they will pick? I hope Anthony Edwards from the University of Georgia. He has same last name as me and played college basketball for my favorite team.

Yes, if a team dies or at least 5 players on the team dies or are dismembered, then that team automatically gets the 1st pick due to disaster draft rules. Don't ask me if multiple teams experience tragedy as to what would happen. It may go to whoever it happened to first, then the other team that experienced tragedy. I don't know. Hopefully this will never happen as there is about a 1 in 500 billion chance of it occurring.

So barring the very very unlikely need of a disaster draft, do you tnink the Timberwolves will make 1st pick or will it be traded? Explain why!
