Me and my boyfriend dated 3 months last year, and than got back together the next year and have now been dating for another 5 months. But lately we have been fighting a lot not huge fights just like stupid things with jealousy or not wanting stay fishing all day cause its hot and stuff. We both have also been having hard stuff going on like my mothers cancer and I have some undiagnosed stomach problem and his father dieing and he just got a new job. He called me and we talked for like an hour and he wants to go on a "break" for the rest of summer he said he still loves me but were not acting like how we did when we started dating like were not "nice" to each other. I asked him why we couldn't just keep dating for a couple more weeks and hang out so he can see that I won't fight. Like I just let it fall into the habit of fighting and I was so stressed that I let that spill over into our relationship but he said it'd be weird after having this conversation which I don't get. So now were on a "break" and were still going to hang out and talk and he said we can still kiss if I want and that he won't talk to other girls and he will tell people he has a girlfriend and not change his profile. He also said the chance of getting back is like 70%. I can't sleep its weighing on me so much, I just love and care about him and he's my best friend, I can't lose him :(.

I'm just worried, how can I make him want me back?

Do "breaks" usually help a relationship or end them?

And in your opinion what do you think will happen with mine?
