This is a situation in which you have every right to turn into a complete bitch. What your husband is doing is inconsiderate as well as disrespectful. I hope you don't go back into the room after he tells you that you're being a drama queen when he is interrupting your sleep. Don't let him get away with that. Sometimes you have to "set it off" lol. Next time he does that, kick his friends out of YOUR house and tell him not to treat you like you're inconviencing people when they are interrupting YOUR sleep! You have rights too and if your husband can't respect it that's when you need to go off.

Sorry to say it, but I'm afraid you're going to have to deliver an ultimatum to your husband: "Choose either the bottle, or me". As a recovered alcoholic myself, I can smell this affectation in others from a considerable distance. Do not put yourself in the position of condoning his behavior, or enabling him to continue on. Things will only get progressively worse. You may have to enlist the aid of his parents, your family, and any clergy you may be involved with. Go to your favorite search-engine and look up "codependency". Also reasearch alcoholism this way. All the best.
Kick his friends out of YOUR house! You have the right to sleep, and if all his friends can do is get drunk, and be obnoxious, they can go to one of their houses, or to the bar. And I would be noisy when he has a hang over. Be annoying, make him feel what it feels like to get no sleep at all.
And I think everyone becomes bitchy when they get no sleep. I know I do. Haha, the littlest things will piss me off, and then your going to hear a long speech, or be yelled at.
So seriously, kick them out. You NEED your sleep.
