i'd be accused of beating a bitch if i tried to sleep in the same bed with someone. i move and kick and every once in an hour before i need to awake i get sleep. are there any sleep habits that i'm talking about that ring a bell? does he snore? wake up on his belly? sit up abruptly in his sleep like he's out of breath?

I love to cuddle and hold my girl at night, but, for example, in the summer when it's hot, a woman is like a space heater, and I have to keep my distance or I'll combust, so there can definitely be reasons to stick to your side of the bed. But if it was important to her, I'd deal with it, at least for a while, for her.

People have developed sleep positions and habits way before even considering sleeping with another person. That way is likely his go to position to fall asleep in. If you want more attention just let him know I'm sure he would oblige till you fell asleep then he could roll over
I'm like that. I always sleep facing away. If I sleep facing I can't get to sleep at all. I also usually if I'm in a bed next to a wall have to face the wall rather than the rest of the room. I can't even tell you why, it's just the way I've always been. Habit.
Is it his left or right side? Does he have acid reflux? They say sleeping on your right side helps with it. Does he have any quirks? I don't feel comfortable sleeping on my right. I always sleep on my left that way i'm facing the door. It's harder for me to sleep with my back to the door.
Because sleep is important and he’s gotten used to getting sleep that way. If he changes now he won’t get as much sleep.
Try switching bed side there is a natural cycle that blocks one of your nostrils and leaves the other one open and most people like to sleep open side down

Some people can only sleep in certain positions. Luckily I can sleep in pretty much any position.
Its a habit. People naturally have certain positions they sleep in. I'm guessing he doesn't sleep on his back. There's certain I can't fall asleep in. I don't think he's intending to be a jerk.
I'm guessing Its because that's his favorite way of falling asleep, and the most comfortable for him.
maybe its just he only can sleep on one side of him and not both sides
