there's a girl i would see around school last year. I wanted to talk to her, but i had no balls and didn't actually know how to talk to a girl i was crushing on back then.

So all that i would do is look at her in the hallways and stuff. she caught on cause she started reversing it, being the one who would stare at me and all that.

I asked her out one day. It came out of nowhere, and I was awkward about it. We had never even talked before. She told me she has a boyfriend (i found out later this was a lie) and thats how we left off.

The weird thing was, after I asked her, I would see her staring at me all the time. I guess i think maybe she panicked or was shy and just fell back to the boyfriend excuse. Tbh, i was weird about it and came on way too strong.

Fast forward to this year
I moved on and liked someone else for a while, but it isn't going to work out with her. I think enough time has passed to give it another shot with this girl.

Weve talked once or twice in a group setting this year, and everything has been normal between us. Every now and then I still see her sneaking a look at me or something.

I was going to just approach her one day, make some joke about how she probably thought i was crazy, tell her she's beautiful and I want to "start over" and get to know her. Hopefully get her number or Snapchat

I was also recently friendzoned by a friend of hers (even tho she liked me first) so i was thinking of asking her about this girl i want to talk to

So is it worth a shot to approach her again and how should i go about it? My only problems are not knowing how to approach her (as in what to say, how to act, and how strongly to flirt with her) and the situation with her friend (I dont want her thinking im only using her to get the friend jealous) Im talking to other girls too but i want to do this because i have nothing to lose. I just dont know how to give myself the best possible shot.

Obviously those aren't the real Trisha and Nicole, but they have similar facial features and hair textures to those women.

Trisha and I have had our ups and downs, but she's promised me that she'll never burn the bridge with me. Trisha was there for me when my aunt died, she's given me career advice, and she makes me feel good about my accomplishments. I really like her. It's gotten really hard for me to be just friends with Trisha, because I want more. She is a good friend, but I notice that she's not real touchy with me. Maybe it's because she's a real shy and reserved person. Over the 5 years I've known her, she's only hugged me once and shook my hand twice. I find that weird because when she Snapchats or texts me, she's always very flirtatious and asking for my opinion on her looks. Maybe she is just a big flirt and leading me on. But I could be wrong about this. Should I pursue Trisha?

Nicole is my other good female friend. She's down to earth, but can be aloof and elusive at times. She's practical in the sense that she doesn't try to hide things. If she has to use the bathroom, she'll be open about it. If she doesn't like something you did, she'll get in your face and assert her opinion. If there's something bad mentioned in the news, she'll be the first one to pull up an article from an unbiased resource and share the facts. But, she also has this tendency to be aloof too. She used to date my friend I met at the gym. When he got a new car, she said it's just a car and didn't give him the compliment that he was seeking. When it was my birthday, she nearly forgot and said that it's just another year. Sometimes, I catch her listening to music and I call out to her or wave at her and she won't even look my way. Nicole is very touchy. She gives me a tight hug every time she sees me. She's kissed my neck before. And we've even shared a blanket at her apartment while we were watching TV. Should I pursue Nicole?
