I want to discuss this topic with the men on GaG, wether we (in western societies) have any benefits from marriage these days or not.

In other posts relating this topic I saw men who are more comfortable with the concept of marriage than others.
Is it really nessessary to marry your SO* if you enter a LTR**? Sure, having children is the most important reason for marriage. Even men who don't want children enter a marriage, why is that so?

1. Depending on a person's society and culture there will be a difference on what they think of first when they read or hear something.

2. In American society for example, if someone hears something like Hung Tran they'll first think of a transgender person.

3. Societies in Asia where Hung is a man's name and Tran is a last name they would probably think of a man.

4. In Vietnam, the Chinese surname Chen is written in Quốc Ngữ (The Vietnamese language) as Trần. Tran is the second most common surname in Vietnam.

5. Media, society, culture, and a person's national current events shape both a person's mind and the person. So Americans and someone from Asia will sometimes think differently. Just like an American and a British person will think differently. A British person asking "Where is the trolley?" in America might cause some people to become confused if they don't know about the different words British people use.

6. Hung Long Tran in Vietnamese means Hero Dragon (Last name unknown meaning).
Hung. Vietnamese Origin. "Hero" The meaning of the name Hung is Hero.
Long is a boy's name of Chinese, Vietnamese origin meaning "dragon".

8. I had wanted to do a poll to see people's first thought. Since the majority of users are from Western English speaking countries where transgender issues are on the media, I was curious to see how Western thought patterns differ when reading that phrase and how many people would recognize Hung Long Tran is a Vietnamese name and not something else. Sadly, the mods on this website are either too ignorant or too PC, so I cannot post my Poll on this website because I know for a fact the Poll would be removed by at least one crybaby Mod.

I know this girl that stepped on a bug the last time we were hanging out, and, when I asked her why she stomped it, she said it makes her feel like a badass. I’ve always assumed that girls were scared of bugs, but this girl has got me wondering. Do other girls like stepping on bugs cause it makes them feel powerful? I’m hoping this poll will clear things up. (Asking anonymously cause this question is kinda weird, but I’m curious)
