So this is the same girl at work. Update so during break yesterday I saw her she was still on her break. I asked her if she was mad at me then she said no. I told her I didn't want her thinking I wasn't interested because I lost her number. She said no that I was good and that she wasn't mad. I told her "if you're not interested in me then just say so." She said "it's not that I am just not interested in that way, but we could still be friends." I said okay then, she said, "well so do you want my number?" I said sure in a unenthusiastic way. She called me so that way I could save her number like that. I just started asking her why she wasn't interested. I asked her to just give me a chance, just one date. She agreed, she said "and if it doesn't work out we could still be friends" again. I asked her if she was available this week and she said she wasn't. She said she has two jobs which checked out she actually does. Then I asked her what her schedule was for next week for both of her jobs and she hesitated when saying she doesn't know. Which for this job she has she really didn't. We don't get our next week schedule until Thursday. I sent her a text message last night saying that this was me and when she gets her schedule for next week to let me know so that way I could compare it to my next week's work schedule. It's been 17 hours now and she still hasn't responded back to my text.

So basically one day which was about 2 weeks ago I finally found the courage to ask her out. I've had a crush on her since the first week I started working at this new job. I was walking outside at night beside her after both our shifts were over and before she left in her car I went up to her and asked her out to dinner and she said yes. Then she gave me her number and stupid me didn't add it in the right way where it saves. By the time I realized it was too late. I waited two days to find good timing of why I didn't text her. I didn't want her thinking I lost interest so while she was ringing up a customer I told her how I lost her number. She first said she couldn't hear me then I said it again and she looked upset and said she would give it to me later in a upset tone. I understand that me asking her that time was a bad time. Now it's been a little over a week and I still haven't asked for her number again. She now seems distant towards me. She hasn't reported me yet so I don't know if that means anything lol and two days ago I was bringing up a opened up sealed box where we put into a special goback pile while cashiering. I was looking for the pile and she was there and she said to me "you can hand it to me I'll put it back." While she was working on the go back pile.
