I went to a Private high school over 15 years ago, and it seems like most people experience is different than mine. We had dance music like Michael Jacks and some rap music. As well as slow dancing. But teachers were always on the look out for inappropriate dancing. There were also always those groups of students who would just a stand around, never dancing, I didn't get that, why pay money to come if you don't dance? For one thing, how preventable is grinding and does the school do much to crack down on it? Do they just give up because it's too hard to enforce?(Poll related to that) What else is your experience like?

This year, I am doing New Year's Eve right! I will be taking my girlfriend to dinner at a nice restaurant in the Omni Hotel downtown.

After dinner, we will walk across the street to the symphony hall to hear a concert of music from Vienna, followed by an afterparty in the lobby, featuring a world class dance band.

The symphony hall is on the river so, at midnight, we will walk outside and watch the fireworks display which the city provides. The fireworks are launched from the river only about ¼ mile from the symphony hall, so it will be a great place for watching the display.

What are your plans for New Year's Eve? There is nothing wrong with staying home, staying sober, staying safe, and I have doe that many years. Although we will be going out and partying, I never drink and drive so I may have one drink with dinner but not more. Whatever you do. . . STAY SAFE!!!

I've been crushing on and trying to flirt with this girl from my school for a little while now. I'm pretty good at making her smile.

On Friday she and I were talking after class and we started talking about music, so I asked what music she liked and she decided to play some from her phone. The song was stereo by Adam Levine. A love song that I knew from the radio that I always listen to.

I dont remember how it came up but she asked me if I planned on going to the next dance. I told her that "I normally don't but I've never had anyone to go with before". (I was trying to vaguely imply that I would go with her if she liked me). the question was out of the blue and I need to know if that's a question that a girl would ask their crush, or if a girl would show that song to someone they liked.

Is she treating me like a friend or is she trying to flirt with me?

We've only been talking for about a week now, so given how long we've been talking, do you think her behavior is supposed to be platonic or does she like me too?
