Search Results: forgiven for a mistake

Let's say I met this guy two weeks ago. Now, attraction can be immediate, that I know personally. And for him, it was. I was experiencing immediate attraction to someone else at the time not involved in this (who turned out to be a douche, not important to this story) so I didn't.

If anything, I felt that way about this guy's friend, though I never showed it until we were all drunk Tuesday and I made dumb side comment to my friend. She ran with that, twisted it, the details aren't important but it was a real mess. Those two guys would've broken off their friendship last night if I hadn't stepped in and decided to take responsibility. I did handle it poorly after chaos broke.

I'm talking to both of them again now after a full circle of apoligies. Not trying to lead either on because enough drama has occured. Both reply within seconds. The guy that originally liked me still seems to a lot, and the other guy has allegedly fallen hard too.

That being said, I'm not pursuing either and am trying to remain platonic with both. But the original one that liked me did handle the fight and everything else that happened really well. And his forgiveness was admirable. I made a lot of mistakes too, ones most might not forgive. Once this all blows over, I might want to give him a chance. But is his fall hard fall fast a red light?
