We're working on a project. Tensions ran a little high the other day as we're lagging behind. Throughout the discussion, he sat too close but still leaned in so much that I had to back away although I'm attracted. When we were leaving, he was going to another level to do work but when he realised I wasn't, he head down to my floor and walked me to my metro station and even walked down and went inside, just short of entering the turnstile.

I asked if he was not catching a train and he said no. I realised he wanted to spend more time with me. 30 mins after parting, I got a text from him apologising for being vexed, and thanked me for being there and contributing (even though I'm part of the team). Later that evening, he messaged to ask if he could call me about the project. When we were done talking about work, seemed like he wanted to extend the convo. But I cut him off - my nerves got the better of me.

Things got worst in next meeting - I was defensive and lowkey picking on him then. I must have taken around 5 shots at him though he was trying to be helpful despite my attitude. The entire team was there the whole time unlike the previous when it was mostly just 2 of us - I think I didn't want anyone to think I have a thing for him so I became too hostile. He had to leave before the meeting ended and that's when I was very dismissive towards him - he was still in the room gathering things and still engaged but I continued like he wasn't there and intentionally directed the questions at everyone else. It was really rude now that I think back.

Shot him a text later to let him know what he missed - it was my way to soften the tension as I realise how harsh I was. I didn't apologize or mention my actions though. He left me on read and did not reply until next day where he explained the lateness but the reply was a passive-aggressive. I was told his texts read like he is annoyed but still cares. That's why the explanation, though he didn't owe me one?
