The reason I think so is cause of the fundamental design decision cybertruck goes with in comparison to normal trucks and vehicles. Normal cars have a body on frame design so there's a skin (the part you see) and a chassis (/the rigid underbody). What cybertruck uses is an exoskeleton (sort of similar to a turtle) so what you see is the frame with an added bonus you get the strength out of it so it's harder to damage the part you see so you could sledgehammer it, shoot it if that's what you're into. In some ways companies can skip on paint facilities which cost approx 500m to build (good ones, or so I've heard). The cost of construction and logistics (maybe) is improved too given the number of parts is reduced and construction methods are simpler in comparison to a body on frame construction (could save millions or even billions) for example the first picture is a honda ridgeline and the second one is the cybertruck.

Pros

Cheaper to construct
You can skip painting it
The part you see is harder to damage maybe even bulletproof
You can skip the paint shop

Cons

It's harder to get "curvy" designs so things are sort of planar in nature almost like they were designed/drawn with a scale. Reason? Because it's harder to stamp (the process by which normal cars or car skins are manufactured). I doubt you'd be able to get something like a McLaren speedtail out of it (picture 3)

It's sort of like comparing a turtle skeleton to a human skeleton, all in all I'd think it's more of an economic decision I'll leave the rest to the imagination. Side note : I doubt I'm qualified to talk about this stuff but found it interesting so just thought I'd see what people think if I got something wrong sorry.. constructive criticisms are welcome : )
