At the age of 20, if the one that you really love, the man/woman of your life, had to leave for 3 years in another country and there was no internet, no phones, no letters, nothing that you can keep in touch and he asked you to meet in a particular place, a particular time after three whole years. Would you do it? Would you stay in a relationship for 3 years that you can not speak with the other at all, only because you love him? or would you break up&move on? try to find someone else?

A little mad with my partner who promised to attend 2 meetings a week after work in the evenings. He was going well for the first month and a half and then on one particular week he claims he didn't go due to feeling tired but managed to be awake enough to play internet games and watch Netflix and the following week he claims he forgot to go and was vegging out in front of TV.

I told him I got the impression that he wasn't totally committed to helping his recovery and this was one of the agreements we made upon me taking him back and giving him a second chance after he had been keeping his drinking problem a secret from me for months.

I told him that these were very flimsy excuses for laziness and that the message I get when he doesn't go is that he also does not value me as his partner and the agreement he initially made and also gives off the impression that he doesn't really care about trying to repair himself and our relationship.

He got defensive pretty much because I called him out on his Shitty excuses.

We met on a trip and we spent a lot of time together on the trip. I thought he generally liked me, because on the train home he would be looking round at me to see where I was and would come sit next to me and touch my arm etc. Anyway we added each other on Facebook and talked alittle bit on there. We added each other on snapchat and the convo just followed, anyway the convos got very flirty and he started asking me for pictures. Unfortunately I didn't refuse, I just sent him pictures I got off the internet. He would send me a picture and video. We decided to meet up for a bit of fun and we did. We have hooked up twice now and I noticed as soon as we hooked up the messages stopped. I did shoot myself in the foot by saying I don't want a relationship and he told me he didn't have time. Anyway now he won't even reply to my messages. I sent him a couple of snaps that I got short answers too. and today I sent him a text saying I can't meet this week, but can next week? and got no reply. Why is this? I find it odd because when we do meet we sit and talk for ages about what we've both been up to and how we have been. We're at the same uni as each other and he doesn't ignore me. He has actually told his friend about us. I don't wanna across and look needy, but I do quite like him now. Shall I just give up and move on, because he's not showing much interest at the moment?
