I was in a relationship where my boyfriend complains about my shape, boobs, hair, skin color. He prefers Chinese girls. Skinny, white-skin, fake nose, eyelids, boobs and so on. He always on Instagram looks for those girls' pic and comments on their pictures. Well, I first thought it's internet thing until one day he proposed the idea that I should go for a boob job, since then he started complaining about my hair, boobs, skin color. And it really made me feel bad about myself. Do all guys do these things in the relationship? And what do you girls think?

That isn't the least bit healthy, so I'm glad you used the word "was" when referring to your relationship. I can sympathize with the feeling of inferiority to attractive Asian women because of the boyfriend, though... and that was never his intention, he never told me I "should" look a certain way or change anything about myself, it's my own personal insecurity since I know that's what he likes, and I'm just a borderline chubby white girl with a below average face.
Most of my past bfs did this I thought all did until my current. It really really sucks the life out of you. Let's just say I pretty much never had sex with anyone because they would just nitpick over what they would change, I rarely ate, had a 16% body fat, worked out obsessively from home where no one would see me. People constantly telling you they don't like you affects you in the long term even if you usually shake things off.
That’s not a normal thing for a man to say. Tell him that if he wants a Chinese girl, he should go find one. Your opinion about your appearance is the only thing that matters. He wants a girl who is weak minded and will go along with whatever he tells her. That’s not going to be you. You are who you are. If he doesn’t like that, no amount of plastic surgery will satisfy him. You would be better off single.
Boyfriends should never denigrate their girlfriends' bodies. You shouldn't feel bad about his comments- he should. Guy doesn't deserve to have you if that is his attitude and behavior.
You’re perfect the way you are and you most certainly do not need to change for him! I would never put up with someone saying things like that, it’s really horrid and I bet it makes you feel really self conscious about it! Most guys don’t do that, and to be honest if they do they are definitely wayyy out of line. X
Leave him if he can't accept who you are. He's stupid because he wants u to do plastic surgery just for fulfill what he wants. Imagine that if u do everything like what he wants and suddenly he left you just because he doesn't love you anymore. That will breaks your heart even more. There's lots of guy that much more mature , kind and can accept the way you are. If ur boyfriend can't accept the way you are now, he's dumb and not grateful fir what he have.
Anyway, not all guys do that. There’s a difference between being realistic with your girlfriend’s looks and outright complaining about them. What he’s doing doesn’t sound very nice.
If he complains or belittles me for my body then he’s gone and more than welcome to find someone who has what he’s looking for. No need to have that kind of negativity in my life.
I think if a guy talks about a certain race of girls... then that's his "type" if you ask me... I've dated all kinds of people but my "type" is white guys from over seas not in the United States LOL 🤣
Your beautiful the way you are don't ever listen to someone like that if he loves you he should love you for who you are period I would never tell a girl that she needs a boob job or anything like that.

Your boyfriend is dumb. I hope you're not with him. He is a huge dick if he said that kind of stuff to you. If my boyfriend said that to me I'd drop his ass.
@PetrovaFire92 Basically, they force you to change or they'll just be disappointed. They basically try to use their partner's feelings and make them change. It's pretty nasty.
