How would you feel if your boyfriend liked an ex flings selfie?

The title says it all really.

A while ago my boyfriend liked a selfie of a girl he had a very drunk one night stand with a couple of years ago. After liking it he did unfollow her as he realised it was weird now me and him are in a relationship. It did upset and I told him. He explained he just didn’t think anything of it as it was a stupid mistake having sex with her and that he just doesn’t see her in that sort of way. He said they just kinda went back to being mates and haven’t talked since that night but occasionally they like each others stuff on social media. I find it disrespectful and feel it’s an attempt to flirt but maybe I’m just insecure. How would you feel if your boyfriend or girlfriend did this?

First of don't get to work up over social media, it injects unnecessary drama into relationships and its too easy to take it too seriously.

Guy saying have drunk sex was a stupid miss take... nah I don't believe that. He might regret it now to the extent that it upsets you, but if went back a d had to do it all over again he probably would.

Saying they went back to bring mates, well if they haven't ever talked since that night... then that's not true either. If they are nothing more then liking each other social media posts... then they really aren't mates are they?

But its all his past, and you should let it go. He unfollowed her so thats that... let it go. But yeah, I agree he fucked up and you called him out on it. This exactly why I stay off social media, I don't past relationships effecting my present relationship.

Well there's no doubt that you're insecure. Yeah he was being a little bit of an asshole doing something like that but you have to trust your guy and he has to trust you. If you don't trust each other then get out of the relationship

I would ask myself why I would get upset by this. If I fear that liking someone's picture on social media is a prelude to them wanting them instead of me, there are more serious underlying issues that should be addressed.

If someone is making you feel bad about yourself that leaves you vulnerable and insecure then maybe it's time you went single, nobody has the right to make you feel small
