Side Note: This question is inspired upon a singular instance where Jeffrey Dahmer (pictured above) had convinced police officers that the 14-year-old boy who was running from him. The boy was given back to Dahmer by officer John Balcerzak who was fired and then later reinstated as a police officer once publicity died down; bystanders did protest the officer's decision none the less their efforts were in vain. The 14-year-old was raped and subsequently strangled upon his return to Dahmer's custody later.
Please do not turn this summary into a political statement, an opinion based solely on the question is much appreciated.

Far too often, I want to do- things. Very, very bad things. Lie, con, cheat, steal, batter, pound, slice, rape, dissect, pillage, murder, kill, destroy. And I increasingly find myself wanting to do these things to everyone and anyone, regardless of whether they've wronged me personally themselves, just to release these pent-up feelings of helplessness, worthlessness, powerlessness and unmitigated rage.

I used to be a nice person, and still make an effort to be one. I still take joy and happiness in providing it to others, especially those who I care about the most; but none are prepared to accept it, and all consider any help, comfort, solace or assistance I've ever offered, even when I gave them everything that I had to give and more, to be worse than worthless- I am always to blame for trying to help them, because I always fail to meet their demands to the letter, because they always demand more than any human being can ever provide on his own, and they are never satisfied, grateful, appreciative or anything besides resentful and dismissive of my offerings.

My purposes in life were to create, inspire hope, bring joy and provide affection; I am an abhorrent failure at all of these. All that I am attributed with is destruction; I am a focal point of despair, misery, pain and hatred for all those around me. But I have never intentionally done anything bad to anyone besides myself. Those mistakes which may have hurt or offended others were few, far between, and utterly insignificant.

And in comparison to the things which I now feel like doing, every single day? Nothing compares to those. Nothing. My boundless imagination is a curse. There is no act, no matter how heinous, evil or unjustifiable, which I haven't envisioned myself carrying out; nor any victim, no matter how helpless, young, old or innocent, who I haven't imagined doing it to. Only illegality and social etiquette, the knowledge that they're "wrong" and my self-control, stop me. Am I an evil person?

Men brutally kill animals , tear their skin in front of their (animal) families , suffocate fishes till their death, their blood is spilling all over the floor in factories and then we eat like best food. is it bad or it's just rule of nature that Only stronger survive. by the way vegetables, trees also have life. if we quit eating non veg then we should also quit eating vegetables because they too have life once. so now if we agree with the point that only stronger thing will survive then none of the crime is bad. human kill animals because they can , tiger kill human because they can, men rape women bcz they can, people robe banks because they can. police send criminals behind bars because police can do it. Chinese border force trying to conquer land of other countries because they think they can. so conclusion is nothing is good or bad in front of god's eyes it's just rules of human to maintain peace. by the way god is strongest , karma will punish bad people but I just discussed nothing is bad or good. I am confused here. if man murder someone then he will be sent to jail bcz victim's family can raise their voice. men are killing animals but no punishment. bcz animals can't raise their voices

Say a girl said a guy raped her. It was very violent and not a misunderstanding of consent. The guy says he didn't rape her and he was at the library at the alleged time of the rape studying by himself (thus he doesn't have anyone to prove he was actually at the library studying).

No one besides the two of them knows where they each were at the time of the rape. Who do you believe?

So we have a case where potentially an innocent person gets sent to prison and if he ever gets out he'll be branded a sex offender until he dies so he won't be able to create a life for himself. Or potentially a rapist gets away with the crime and thus the victim gets no justice and the rapist may go on to rape more people.

In England and Wales, alleged rape victims will no longer have to face scrutiny or cross-examination in court. Instead, the justice secretary Elizabeth 'Liz' Truss has set out sweeping reforms which will allow all alleged sex abuse victims to pre-record all their testimony before a trial, and to exempt them from having to attend court proceedings themselves.

Ms Truss said pilot schemes showed pre-recorded interviews led to "a higher level of early guilty pleas", and that as such, these new laws will come into force across the nation in September. In her Sunday Times interview, she said "It reduces the level of trauma for the victim. I want to see that being the standard offer in those cases and that will give more victims confidence to come forward."

Ms Truss also said that the pre-recorded interviews will provide "much clearer ground rules" to counsel, adding that "At the moment, prior sexual history can only be asked about in exceptional circumstances, but sometimes questions can be asked that verge on that territory. If a question is asked that is inadmissible, that can be cut out of the tape by the judge."

But several argue that this will have a huge impact on those people who are falsely accused of rape. James Conte, founder of accused. me. uk said: "If you are a wholly innocent victim of someone trying to frame you, you will not welcome these changes because they will increase the chances that you will be wrongfully convicted." Zoe Gascoyne, chairwoman of the Criminal Law Solicitors Association, told the newspaper that taped interviews before a trial would not take into account real-time developments, and said: "This may be a step too far."
