A navy seal said this and I gave it some thought and realize I don't care what people believe about my basketball skills I believe I can beat them. I was very good at an early age and praised for it. But if you tell me I'm bad in something else I don't feel that same confidence deep within yet. Ask yourself what are you very good at or once was great at and then ask how would you feel if someone said they were better than you at it. Maybe a friend. You don't believe them. Because you confidence is so strong within yourself. Their words do nothing to you because you deeply have self confidence in doing that thing. The more their words do to you the more you lack confidence. A better example is below.

I do it more often now because it's an hour long drive to get to my uncle's bayhouse and when I'm there, i don't feel like I belong there as people will say hi and ask where I am if I'm not there, but once I arrive, I never feel like I play any role in the party, if you want to call it that.

I also have an angry resting face so I'm constantly trying to keep myself from looking that way but it never plays out right and I end up making myself look confused instead of angry, even though I'm not mad. I used to hug people bye but now I just slip out when nobody is looking and the fact that I'm able to do that kinda proves that my sense of being nothing more than an "extra" is true.

Today I was invited to a family meetup but I said no and decided to stay home instead because I didn't want to drive an hour just so I can sit and feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. It also doesn't help that I don't drink at all because I'm 100% immune to the effects of alcohol and being around people who are drunk is even less enjoyable for me, so I decided that I wasn't going to go today. Have you ever said no to a family meetup?

After the terrorist attacks on 9/11, he and his business partner decided to keep their practice in the same office in the financial district. Barasch says it’s a decision that he and his colleagues have paid a price for.

“In the last 15 years, my secretary Lyanna had died at age 47 of breast cancer. My paralegal Dennis, also at 47, died of kidney cancer. I'm a prostate cancer survivor. My other secretary Barbara has lymphoma. Two other people in my office have skin cancer. These are all considered related to the toxic dust,” he says.

The National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) has linked 68 cancers to the World Trade Center toxins; airborne particles that came from the 400 million tons of debris that spread for miles after the Twin Towers collapsed.
