We all have a list of what we want in a partner, Is mine to picky?

I try to be healthy and would like my partner to be healthy too. For instance, I am overweight but I work on losing it. I exercise regularly and eat halfway decent. So, if my partner is let’s say 100lb overweight but doing something about it like I am and will stick to it then I am in. but if they are overweight and lazy and eat everything in sight, it will not be a good fit. A plus would be if we could take exercise classes together, like Zumba or platies. However, I do not like to watch sports. I do not follow any ‘team’ or want to go to ‘the game’ or anything like that. Yet I don’t mind participating in volleyball as long as we are having fun and not being super competitive. So, if sports are your thing we won’t do well together.

I don’t drink by choice, father and maternal grandfather died from it when I was a teen, and do not like to be in places where people are drinking. But would date someone who drinks once in a great while, but not daily. No, I will not stay up until midnight and toast in the New Year either.

I don’t smoke, mother died from it plus second-hand smoke has given me lung scars. Sorry, will not date a smoker.

I do go to church yet I am not ‘churchy’ enough for the girls who go to church. I would date someone who is or is not in church as long as they do not criticize my beliefs and would go with me to church sometimes, likewise, I would attend their church once in a while if they are a different faith. Or skip church now and then to head to the pool or something if they want.

So am I too picky?
