I'm really unsure about this. Here's a few examples about why:

1. I just broke up with my ex 3 days ago and I feel like my life is in shambles. She was a really good girl, had all the qualities I was looking for, but she said she doesn't think she deserves me. To "recover", I went out to the club with a couple of guy friends from work and ran into the girl I liked before I met my ex. I was drunk and couldn't stop thinking about her. The girl I used to like turned out to be almost everything I don't want in a girl. But while I was drunk and even hours after I sobered up, I caught feelings for her again. I almost drunk texted her several times. Do I really like this girl or is this me being drunk messing up my judgement?

2. Back in college I liked this really popular girl. I slid in her Instagram DMs but she called me an asshole and said I was lucky to get a reply. Two days later she's back in my DMs sending me thank you messages with a bunch of crying face emojis. I asked her what she's thanking me for. She said "Sorry. I was drunk." Ever since then, she's been liking most of my Instagram posts. Especially the ones I post with my family. Does she really like me or is just embarrassed she messaged me drunk?

3. One of my co-workers is constantly sharing stories of bad run ins with guys. I think she likes the bad boys. One time when she was drunk she took a fake Uber from one bar to the next and gave the driver her number. He catcalled her and she got in the car. She called him a good Samaritan. But another time she met a guy at the DMV and he left a note on her car saying call me, but she thought he was creepy and a pedophile. No matter whether she's drunk or sober, she's always bragging about the bad boys.

So what do you think? Does being drunk enhances how we truly feel or make us stupid?

About week or two ago a girl from nearby town started following me on Instagram. I've looked her profile to see who's following and from the content she was posting I concluded that she is devoted Orthodox Christian. I'm devoted Orthodox Christian too.
I noticed she was liking my every new picture and following my Instagram story. Few days ago she posted "Ask me anything" in her story and I used that to start our conversation. I asked her about her goals. She told me her goal is to study psychology and to become a good wife and mother.
She's definitely my type on every level (from what I know about her). Yesterday she added me on Facebook, than we had few short conversations in the comments of her last two posts that she posted that day. And later I started a conversation with her via Messenger. I've asked her about her interests, we talked about books and similar.
But the problem is that she asks me nothing. I always ask her, I always initiate further communication. And it's not that she just wants to fend me off. She replies with long, detailed messages, and replies to my every message, but she just doesn't initiate the further communication. If I don't come up with the next question/topic our communication would mute.
Is she interested in me, why doesn't she initiate the further communication, choose topics, ask me questions about me or about the topic. All she does is just answering my questions and commenting (I repeat, she replies with long detailed messages to my every message).
