So I love the colour pink, its my favourite colour but I also enjoy parkour and gaming...so I'm not allowed to wear pink...

Look here is how I see tomboys, I see tomboys as girls that don't just prefer stereotypical boy stuff but also don't give a flying sht about colours...like what kind of tomboy doesn't wear a dress because "EW, its to girly" "ew its to pink...how gross"

Like then you aren't really a tomboy because you are whining about a peice of fabric..

In my opinion true tomboys are badass and don't care what they wear or what colour they like.

I like the colour pink because it gives up a nice vibe, its a very joyful colour and I don't see it for any gender, I just like the damn colour but apparently I can't be a tomboy and like the stupid damn colour

I can't even wear a skirt either without someone being like "Wait don't you play halo, aren't you a gamer girl" or "WOw you're wearing a skirt thats so girly" like stfu and let me live my life, and don't even get me started on half of the dip shits on tumblr who think Im gay because I express my self in a typical lesbian way like jfc can't I just be a girl, like to do stereotypical boy activites and like the colour pink...

Why can't I be laid back and not gossip, why can't I be destructive and into trolling and making stereotypical targeted for male jokes, why can't I watch red vs blue and why can't I play halo without being labeled as something stupid...regarding to my gender

Like seriously If society keeps on treating me this way I might as well become asexual cause this whole thing is bullshit.

And don't call me a feminist because the feminists are wrong as well, they want equal rights but not equal bloody responsibilities, everyone wants gender equality but thats completely impossible unless we all reborn as species with no gender.

My boyfriend and I are kinda "androgenous". And we aren't a trans couple.

He loves pink, unicorns, and guns. I prefer blue/green, working out, and arts and crafts.

He is at boot camp for the Marines. I want to be a teacher, and am currently a surrogate mom.

And it works because we accept each other for who we are. You just be you. Find someone who lets you like pink AND video games at the same time. He is out there. You are not the only person who feels this way :)

There has always been stereotypes. There will always be stereotypes. I won't blame you for doing what you choose to do. But I can't say the same for everyone. Plenty of people are against stereotypes, and plenty for.

The term stereotype is self explainatory. Usually most girls or boys or whatever the stereotype is ascibed to is considered common and is usually true.

Immature kids equate sex with stereotypical preferences, they tease kids that don't fit into the stereotype because they are dumb. It's also dumb to react in a histerical way to dumb people. You can't get rid of stereotypes, we actually need stereotypes to function. They encode our frame of reference so that people can easily communicate ideas. The solution is to not be a kid and think like an adult.

Gender stereotypes had to exist in history in order to keep the human race alive, men had to be tough and manly and risk their lives in order for women to survive to have children, obviously these are outdated and obsolete but they still have roots in our culture and overtime have morphed into different things like how girls like pink and men are all aggressive, these may not be true to the individual but are thought of as true due to our cultural roots in gender roles
