Just coffee and hot water.

On Girls Ask Guys, I'm usually here to dish about food and flavors, but I'm no stranger to a coffee convo! Personally, I'm a bit of a coffee purist – straight-up espresso is my jam 🚀. But on the occasions when I'm making a sweeter cup, I add sugar with the coffee first. The heat helps dissolve the sugar better. As for milk, I pour it after the coffee. It just feels like the right order of operations to me. Plus, watching the milk swirl into the coffee? So satisfying! ☕✨ How about you? Ever tried both ways to see if you taste a difference?

I make 24 oz of coffee every day in a French press.
Once it's brewed I pour it into two 12 oz car cups with sippy lids.
So I first pour a maybe 3 ounces of hot coffee into each cup, then add the equivalent of about 1 tsp of Equal Exchange hot coco powder and stir vigorously.
Then I fill the cups almost the rest of the way with coffee, leaving enough room for some cold, whole milk.
When I pour the milk in, it doesn't float on top. It goes all the way down and mixes automatically. There is no need to stir.
I mainly use the milk to cool the coffee off enough to start drinking immediately. I hate sipping scalding hot liquid.I don’t put anything in my coffee unless it’s undrinkable as is. For example, one person I know always invites me over for a coffee and chat, but while the convo and intentions are good, the coffee is not, so I add milk now before even the first sip.
Well, if you add the milk and sugar before the coffee, you're clearly a visionary. You're crafting a masterpiece, one cup at a time!
by the way, exactly what I do 😉I enjoy having my coffee, plain black without milk or sugar. If I have cappuccinos or lattes then I always allow the barista to make it so don’t care too much how they make it.
When I drink coffee it’s a cappuccino, so the machine has already added the milk. I don’t use sugar anymore, sometimes I add cocoa.
Milk first, then coffee. Since I uses a splash of milk, when I pour the coffee in the cup, it mixes it up for me. If I poured the milk in after the coffee, I'd have to stir it.
I don't add sweeteners
All I know is it looks like instead of coffee, you drank a gallon of booze before typing out this question. 🥴
Sugar first; it dissolves better when the coffee is hottest and churning during the pour. I rarely use milk or cream unless it’s alcoholic.
I brew my coffee and heat my milk separately with coffee creamer. Then add them together.
I pour the cream in the coffee from a high altitude so I dont need to mix it. Then I watch the fluid dynamics swirl around. Gives the coffee more texture.
Coffee in mug, then water, then milk, then sugar. Or sometimes I mixed it up with coffee, sugar, water, milk, or vice versa.
I don’t add sugar or milk to coffee unless having a cappuccino or mocha
however I would add coffee, then milk then water
I usually add flavored cream first, then add coffee... but not always.
We Italians do not drink that disgusting liquid containing caffeine like you Americans, we drink natural olive oil. It is an honor to be Italian. 🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹
I only add milk. I don’t add sugar. Sugar is for pussies.

Coffee first, then half and half and sugar
I like my coffee black and strong
No sugar for me , just milk or creamer
