So my boyfriend and I are fighting over something really stupid. For his birthday I was going to offer him a night in a nice hotel in a beautiful city near by. We don't live together and we can't sleep at each other's house so I thought it would be a nice thing to offer him - a night by ourselves. I was going to pay for everything. He says he doesn't want to now and only wants in the summer because it doesn't make any sense. He says that instead of spending now one day we can spend one more in the summer... But it's not relateble because this was money I had for his gift. Nothing to do with the holidays. I tried to explain to him that it's hard for me not being able to be alone with him for so many months but he was still saying no. At first was because he didn't want to do nothing special on his birthday and when I said we could go the weekend after his birthday he still said no. This caused a big fight because I feel like he doesn't want to be with me. It was only 1 night... You doesn't want to be 1 night with his girlfriend? Do you guys think this is ok?

My boyfriend loves daffodils and things that I make him. I don’t know which would be more suitable for valentines and which for his B-day.

It’s winter. I’m not going to be able to get a bouquet of daffodils for cheap, but I do know a guy who makes hand-blown glass flowers, and he happens to make daffodils.
The other option I was thinking of was making him a heart, by hammering nails onto a wooden block and weaving embroidery thread to make a shape, a heart is just a cute idea and I can do a lot more.
I’m also giving him some other stuff but this is what I can’t decide on.

He wants both (all he knows is that it’s a glass pretty thing or a wooden thing I make) and I just don’t know which to give him on Valentine’s. Which is more romantic and which is a better birthday gift? Pick the one you’d rather get from your girlfriend.

That's me right now. Let's called my boyfriend A, and the girl he has feeling for B.
I've been with A for a year (we started dating in January) and in September, I started to notice he talked to this specific girl and I warned him that she had feeling for him but he didn't listen to me. I was uncomfortable about it so i started to give him attitude and we started to fight over petty stuff.
When we finally talked about our problem, he told me that he talked to his friend (B) more than talking to me because I gave him attitude, and he started to treat B as if she was his girlfriend (hanging out with her, going to concert, bring her to dance practice,...). When I confronted him about his feeling for B, he told me that he only liked her as a friend but when he posted her photo on his Instagram stories (twice), he always hid me and told me that he knew i would be jealous even though i told him i was cool about it. Plus, he didn't celebrate my birthday (or get me a gift) with me but he celebrated her birthday instead. He put a bunch of heart emoji in her contact, and they never stopped talking (Every single day). B has two Instagram account, one that she posted her personal but the other account, she posted a bunch of photos of her and A. She puts caption like "He's cute", "me and a routine: wake up, play game for 5 hours.", "get a man like him". It was really hurt for me to see those photos but why would he tell me that he didn't have feeling for her but she would post photos as if they're dating? Furthermore, he blamed that this relationship is doomed because of me, and he didn't change or anything. My friends said that i'm really feeble-minded to stay with him but I felt like it's all my fault in this relationship.
P/s: I'm 17 by the way, i accidentally put the wrong age on my profile.

Today, my mother prepared food and dad ate the meal, I complimented my mom's cooking as it was very good but dad didn't say anything. Later, when I asked my mom why dad didn't say anything, she said "Most husbands are like that. They never compliment their wives, they never buy them gifts, they never celebrate wives' birthdays, not even on special occasions like Valentine's Day, etc."

I said, "But, I often hear that a boyfriend gave his girlfriend a gift, they go out with their girlfriends, etc."

"That happens only before marriage, after marriage, it is gone and what left is a rock-like husband who has no feelings!"

"Really? But, even in TV shows, I have noticed husbands giving gifts to their wives, taking out them for dinner..."

"What TV shows show is not real. Most husbands are rock-like."

"Dad never compliments you?"

"Never, he never does that. If his dish is all clean without any substances, that means he liked the food but if there's still some food left, it means the meal wasn't good. Of course, not all husbands are like that. 2 out of 10 husbands are truly affectionate and loving towards their wives, others are rock-like and don't care about wives much. If you need confirmation, go ask the neighbors around."

So, I was wondering, is this really true? Husbands are rock-like without any feelings after marriage?
