Search Results: give an ex their stuff back

im 28 years old married and have a 13 month old daughter. my wife, daughter, and i live in saskatchewan with me where i work in the oil field on the oil rigs. we are originally from manitoba which is 4-5 hours away.
my wife doesn't have very many friends out here and since we have had a baby she has had a hardtime being away from family.
getting home sick and no support or help living so far from home.
she wants to move back in a year or so which im fine with, the issue is what ill do for work if that happens.
i basically have 2 choices.

1- stay out here and work and find a job where im on a shift (ex- 2 weeks in, 1 week out) and go back home to see my family every 2 weeks.
by then i have the experience to find a job making anywhere from $100,000-$140,000ish. but not sure how i would be able to handle being away from family that but also hard to walk away from the money.

2- i can move back home with my famiy. find a job maybe making $50,000-$60,000 if im lucky. i wouldn't be able to give my family all the things id like to give them in life and dont really have the option to go to school or anything.

so im very torn on what i should do... each option has their own major pros and cons. just wondering if anybody out there has ever been in this similar situation and can give me some advice.

i want to be with my family but at the same time i was to be able to have more kids, buy a big house in a good area and have my kids go to a good school and buy a summer cabin have boats quads etc etc give them all the stuff that cash working the rigs would give me to do that but it would be very hard to walk away from the money to go back home with them.
im a very hardworking ambitious individual in life and im not willing to settle to just have an average life. i want to really succeed and give my family everything they want in life
