I have a crush on someone. We are seat mate and he isn’t my type, to be honest. He is a playboy but smart, handsome, confident and friendly. We rarely talk and he doesn’t initiate a message, so we never chat. We always see each other, in class and in dance club. He doesn’t move away when he ask question and I need to scoot close to see the paper. I don’t know if he steal glances at me. I’m a shy type but if you talk to me more, I have a lot of silly comments and stories to share.

I met this boy half a year ago and had two dates with him. Since we currently live far away from each other, we stay in contact via WhatsApp or talk on the phone.
We planned our next date next week and will spend three days together in Amsterdam.

During the last two phone calls, he mentioned that his friend asked him to participate in a Casting. He had to play the guitar while she had to look in love with him. The jury said they would go well together, he mentioned.
On today's phone call, he said that he was danced at, on a party by a 37-year-old and an 18-year-old from his scout group said "I love you" to him, because she was drunk and apparently he pretended, that he didn’t hear anything.

I didn’t take it serious and laughed about it, but I‘m curious why he's sharing this “unnecessary“ information with me. Do you have a clue? Does he share it with me without any ulterior motive or is there more to it?
I know it sounds stupid asking, but I don’t know if he’s trying to tell me something with this. Could need some opinions.
