Let me give you a bit of a backstory; recently I kinda have been seeing a guy I know from work.
Him and I are a bit different (he is from a different country and he still struggles with my language and my country's customs).

When I first introduced him to one of my friends I kind of expected her to make a comment about his background. Funnily enough, she didn't.
Instead she made a comment about his height. You see I am quite tall (176 cm/5.9 foot) and he is a bit shorter than I am.

At first, it didn't really bother me. I mean I never wear heels and it really isn't that important.
But ever since my friend made that comment I'm not so sure anymore.
I know it shouldn't bother me, but it does.
Do you agree with my friend or do you think it's complete and utter bullshit (like I thought at first)?

Have you ever wondered whats the average height for an adult women? Studies have shown its 5'5. I'm 5'10 almost 6 feet and I'm not even an adult yet. Plus I tend to be the tallest of my class since kindergarten. Some of the hardest things to do because of my height is dating, sports and finding clothes.

Dating
Most of the guys I meet are usually shorter than me. It makes it harder to date or find people who like me. I noticed that guys usually want girls who are shorter than them not giants like me. A good 50% of guys 6 feet are way older than me. The other 50% tend to wanna date girls who are 5'5 and shorter.

Sports
One of the main questions people ask me when I tell them i play sports is "Do you play basketball?". It feels like people only think of that sport first because of my height. Whenever I'm on the field for my games, I noticed people giving me weird looks like I'm a outcast just because I'm the tallest on the team, doesn't mean I'm some 18 year old playing for a 13u team. Out of all the sports I played, I find it harder to play softball because I have a longer way to get down to slide and I have a bigger swing rang then most of the girls on my team.

Clothes
I find it really hard to find clothes. A short dress tends to look like a shirt on me and some pants that are long on most people look like shorts on me. Some of the trendy fasion is hard to find that fits just right. The only thing I like about this is I get to wear baggy hoodies because I have to look for larger sizes to meet my arm length.

Now I know a lot of you guys don't feel this way but I just wanted to share my point of view. If you have any questions or opinions on this please comment. Thanks!
