Being tall for a girl. Is it a blessing or a curse?

Have you ever wondered whats the average height for an adult women? Studies have shown its 5'5. I'm 5'10 almost 6 feet and I'm not even an adult yet. Plus I tend to be the tallest of my class since kindergarten. Some of the hardest things to do because of my height is dating, sports and finding clothes.

Dating
Most of the guys I meet are usually shorter than me. It makes it harder to date or find people who like me. I noticed that guys usually want girls who are shorter than them not giants like me. A good 50% of guys 6 feet are way older than me. The other 50% tend to wanna date girls who are 5'5 and shorter.

Sports
One of the main questions people ask me when I tell them i play sports is "Do you play basketball?". It feels like people only think of that sport first because of my height. Whenever I'm on the field for my games, I noticed people giving me weird looks like I'm a outcast just because I'm the tallest on the team, doesn't mean I'm some 18 year old playing for a 13u team. Out of all the sports I played, I find it harder to play softball because I have a longer way to get down to slide and I have a bigger swing rang then most of the girls on my team.

Clothes
I find it really hard to find clothes. A short dress tends to look like a shirt on me and some pants that are long on most people look like shorts on me. Some of the trendy fasion is hard to find that fits just right. The only thing I like about this is I get to wear baggy hoodies because I have to look for larger sizes to meet my arm length.

Depends on where you are tall. If it's all torso. Then that is a struggle. but if it's all legs. Then you're in for a great time. Models are mostly legs. and clothing is made for them. You'll just have to shop for more expensive clothing. But just less often. And you'll look amazing compared to everyone else as your clothes fit better on you. For sports. Remind yourself that you're a valued part of the team and you can ignore other people's looks. Your height can help and hurt your ability. Take it as the hand you're dealt and maximize the positives. For dating. Just remember you're a model by nature. And any guy insecure about his height isn't worth you're time. Date short or tall. Love has no height limit like at an amusement park

I love tall women personally, I think they look really attractive, elegant and womanly.

However if I may ask a question? How would it help if, say you were of age, and you had a husband, if he would make clothes that fit you? Like a dress of your preference that was tailored to your height?

I tried asking a question on here about it before but did not get any helpful answers (mostly from guys telling me they were not women.😅)

Thank you, I wanted to know because I would like to marry a tall woman, and I want to make things easier and more pleasant for her, and I know there are things that can make being a tall woman difficult (like you talked about in your question,) and I want to ease her burdens in anyway I can, including her having stylish, fitted clothes to wear.

Young men will care about not being shorter than you, but eventually they'll grow and catch up to you and there will be a lot more to choose from. And older men won't as often feel insecure about this.

It's a curse for women.
Personally it would be no problem because I'm tall myself (6'3.5) but men in general we like to be taller than our women it's like a masculine dominance thing. A boy who is shorter than you or the same height will probably feel slightly weak and feminine. Especially in your age group you probably are taller than a lot of boys.

Most guys wouldn’t care for the height some like shorter women but that’s cause it’s cute watching them struggle to get something that’s high on a counter but the other kind of guys who are short and their girl is taller than them it’s cute too when we can’t reach for something we’ll just call someone who can reach it

I have no preference, but my girlfriend is around 5'7"/8" and it doesn't bother me whatsoever, couldn't care less. She's beautiful and I think if anything her height adds to that.

You should treat it as blessing. Most girls aren't even tall and guys really do admire something that sticks about a girl. Trust me height is one of them. I'm 6'1 and got sick of too many short girls growing up. Honestly it is great to see a girl my height or even taller. To be honest I have loved girls that were even heights of 6'8 or taller in person. Sure it is about the legs but I just love the glow you all give out when you are all are so tall and confident
