For the past month, I've been going to my local ice cream shop and talking to this girl. I started getting her talking cause she was wearing ear buds and we'd talk about podcasts and what else we listened too. For a few weeks I'd come in and talk with her.

Tonight, she was saying she wondered where I went because I didn't come on my usual day. She asked what I was up to and said I was moving all day. She stopped everything and asked; "moving? Moving where? Out of state?" So I was like no just down the road. She's like, oh still near us at coldstone.

So I thought that was a sign, so I was like if I give you my number, could you text me that podcast, and she paused and giggled and said she actually had a boyfriend.

I felt super awkward so I apologized and thanked her and left and now I don't wanna go back. I thought it was mutual flirting

Met her at the gym, we talked and she gave me her number. In texting, she is showing a little bit interest. (Decent answers)... still she hasn't texted me yet up until now... I assume I'm getting ghosted

But... due to experience, I think it's very less likely for her to be interested because she is just being friendly. What do you think?

The receptionist at my chiropractor is really pretty and we would talk before and after my appointment a lot.
One day, I decided to ask her out by giving her chocolate and a note with my number on it.

We went out on a date, which I was already unsure about because even though she said she was bad at texting, she took almost a day to respond every time. Even waiting until the day of to confirm our date. We were supposed to meet for ice cream and she showed up 20 minutes late.

The date was fine, and she said she wanted us to get to know each other with the intention to date. The second date wasn't as good and it was becoming difficult to schedule another. Eventually I said she needs to tell me when she's available.

About 4 months go by and we don't interact and I didn't go in when she worked. I went in on new years and she was working. She seemed like she wanted to talk and was holding back. She was curious how I was doing.

I got her up saying I was sorry about before, and it was nice to see her. She said she felt bad about how things went, and she was really happy to see me.

Again, tried to arrange getting together and I got very frustrated. She then was saying she wasn't interested in dating and didn't want to have to include someone else in her plans. She said we can be friends, and such. I was confused and referenced her saying she wanted us to date.

She had still been taking at least a day to respond by the way, and said she didn't know why I was misremembering the date, but I had said that. I kinda snapped a bit. Cause I was frustrated.

I said I didn't want to be friends or anything with her. I said I didn't like how she's putting words in my mouth, and I remembered the date well. Like how she was 20 minutes late and I almost left.

Said maybe I'll see her around and that was it. I haven't heard from her and I refused to go in while she worked.

Am I wrong in this situation? My friends say I should have just been friends and it may have gone somewhere.
