i meet this girl at my local pub who works there as a server and talked to her a few times , i wouldn't say were necessary friends yet but feel there is potential for something. i enjoyed meeting her and very attracted to her but its weird cause i know she is close friends with the girl who rejected me earlier this year.

had also meet her through her work and talked to her there many times , she had worked at a gym though. but then when covid hit it closed and when i tried to keep in touch with her outside the gym she ghosted me and haven't heard a word from her since.

not sure if she'd care that i'm now talking to one of her girlfriend's and attempting to develop a friendship with her instead. some girls obviously would not care but others might take it the wrong way and assume the guy was doing this to annoy her or to hurt her feelings by trying to get closer to the friend and perhaps get with her.

I know there are so many questions on that topic and I don't want to annoy y'all with bringing up that stuff again.. Also, I'm not the misogynistic type who blames women of being shallow or anything, so please be brutally honest! I love women and I have lots of female friends who I really like and care about!

I just wanted to know what your opinions on my situation are.
Since my start at university, I'm into a girl from campus who is taller than me.

I'm 5'7
She's like 5'10

When I walk past her, she sometimes looks at me like she was annoyed by my presence or something. Or maybe that's just paranoia? As far as I know, she's single, but she's always hanging out with all these hot girls and the cool tall guys so I've never felt comfortable talking to her so far. Once I heard her talk to a friend about a party they'd been on the night before, and when her friend told her that in the end she went home with "that hot guy", my crush went all euphoric and said something like:
"He was so tall!"
Does that tell me that height is super important for her? Or should I keep calm and rely on the fact that there are other qualities to impress her with?
I've talked to many of my female friends and they all told me that the female preference for a taller guy is universal and very strong and that I should stick to girls my height or shorter. The chart I put in the description also says that girls are very strict with their partners height!
The problem is that it isn't just her. I've always been into tall girls like 6ft or even more. Maybe that's the reason I always get rejected and never had a girlfriend...
I feel like I don't like her despite of her height but because of her height, like I love her big long body.
Is there any hope for me? Are there girls who can actually fall for someone who is a couple of inches shorter?
