YES. I was in Paris and we passed this place , show case in think it was called near the arch de treuphe.
Wife wanted to go in so I booked a table for the night. So we went back to the Hotel and put our glad rags on and went to the place. Lovely place got to the table ordered some drinks , had the meal. Sat there and everything started to move. In front was a curtain that went up and the floor moved up. Leaving this enormous stage. Well this guy came on , chatted in French and cleared off , the lights went and these girls came out must have been 20 of them wearing only a small bikini bottom and some feathers sticking out of the back top half naked. The wife was busy ordering some more wine then she court sight of all the boobs , never seen her so excited. That was the first act , the rest where very much the same, but very erotic. I think the wife enjoyed it more than me , and loved it...

Accept. That sounds exciting and the person who invited you is almost certainly very interesting. I would look at it for what it is, which is someone invited you to live theater. If someone invited you to a strip club, that is a very different thing.

I have not been to a burlesque show but I rented an apartment in New Orleans once from a burlesque performer. The apartment had photos on the wall and I hope to go to a burlesque show when I visit again.

I would go, i love berlesque shows. In 2018 i was in the states and went to Vegas, we saw the Zumanity show

I would take every chance i get to see these amazing shows.

Plus I always wanted to go to a regular play and the opera to.

It would be nice to see that type of stuff.

Being stuck on a farm sometimes has some real drawbacks. Like there are no theaters no where near me.

I would say the closes to me would be Chicago and that like a 10 hr drive one way
