Tonight, the media is so obsessed over celebs at the Met Gala. Why not invite everyday common people to the Met Gala to make it more interesting?

The Met Gala is a promotional event to help Hollywood generate recognition and consumers. It’s not meant to be a charity event, the charity is just an excuse to gather celebrities together without making people think it’s superficial and greed driven event. It’s just like, how companies pretend to be virtuous and selfless, they know people won’t buy from a seller they morally hate, even if the seller has lower prices.
