I know thereโs restaurants, parks, picnics, and movies and concerts ๐.
so, what about opera? ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ Iโve always found it romantic. And the play is beautiful ๐๐โบ๏ธ๐ฉ๐.
Opera? No. But a musical? Of course and I do it all the time. Musical theatre is a huge favorite of mine. By the way, the images you posted are not from an opera but from a musical -- Phantom of the Opera. I hope you've had a chance to see it as it's a fantastic musical.
Oh, thank you ๐.
I googled opera and got this.
Iโve never been to an opera. Sounds nice. ๐
And thank you for being helpful.
Musical definitely not an opera
I've done it a few times. It's a great date for a girl that appreciates it.
Thatโs nice ๐
Thanks for the MHO
My boyfriend and I went to see opera twice, and I'm sure we'll go again. It's very entertaining, we get to dress up fancy, and it's good to change things up a bit. Movies and restaurants can get dull pretty quickly.
Yes, I agree ๐ different atmosphere and dressing fancy๐โบ๏ธ๐ฉ.
I actually dated the Opera's executive director and got to see some incredible productions.

If he wasnโt interested, I would not press. But it would be very meaningful for him to attend with me.
If she loves it, then yes why not 🙂
And when we return home, i'll sing some opera for her so i get kisses, of course if she's my wife😉
Because seeing her happy will makes me happy😊
Thatโs nice ๐
Sure... Some operas are alright. Itโs not something I pick, but Iโd go along maybe. I enjoy some opera music, but the theater in general isnโt the most thrilling thing in the world. Everyone piles into their seats, you watch some people dance around and sing for a bit and then pile out into the lobby for intermission in your little huddled masses and then rinse and repeat.
I have been to the theater and the opera would be so cool!
It is expensive AND you have to dress like you are going to a wedding
I've never been to the opera. So if they wanted to go. I wouldn't mind, great way to fine new stuff to like.
Maybe but it would have to be Gilbert an Sullivan rather than something heavy. I have never been to the opera
I've taken exes to the opera, because I worked in the arts I get free tickets for lots of my friends shows, it's always makes for a great date.
Sure, I'm not saying I would enjoy it but I'd take her if she wanted to go
An opera is a good place to date, if she like opera.
Last week I bought tickets for a Ballett in the historical Operahouse of Vienna (which are quite expensive) and yesterday she broke up with me.
That sucks... Time to find someone else to accompany me...
I probably wouldn't. I'd probably take her to a shakespeare play or a dinner theatre. I'm not really interested in the Opera.
I suppose I would do it if she wanted to. But in all the years we've been together, I don't think it has come up
Love the idea definitely next date will be the Opera thanks
Youโre welcome ๐
Hope you have a good time.
Yes I'm very open to the idea, maybe I will like Opera more
Both of my parents sang opera, and I've been to many. I have taken dates there, but the opera is an aquired taste, so as many people don't like it, I wouldn't suggest it as a first date.
Nope, simply cos i dislike it a lot, i can't stand it sadly :/ but if it was my girlfriend, i would be willing to try a mix of opera and something i like, like opera and rap works surprisingly well together, as my mom showed me when i was young hehe
I really don't like operas... Symphonies, sure, but operas? Not a chance.
my mom has her girl friends, she goes to places like this. but, they probably went when they were dating.. just to keep her happy
my mom likes those things, my dad doesn't
yea... if they have a bar in the lobby... and she's driving lol
Only if both of you like it. There aren't too many people with an opera fetish.
