Hello everyone. So basically, I've had a full staffordshire terrier since and he's 3 and a half years old. Got him at 7 weeks old around the end of 2011. Now, he's always been hyperactive and attention seekingly annoying. But you know, I love him. He's my best friend, he's beautiful and friendly but he's too much for me and my mother to handle. I finally bit the bullet and agreed to give him away, and my mother rehomed with with one of her work collegues. The work collegue is a 41 year old woman who lives with her husband and 3 children who are all in their early to mid 20's. She handed my dog over last Saturday, now It's Wednesday and she called and said it's not working out as my dog is "aggressive" towards her children even though he's never been aggressive towards me or my family, and we have actual children in my family. So yeah, we had to take him back and I'm really happy because I missed him so much even though he were only gone for a couple of days. I promised I was going to train him better, take him out for longer walks and wake up early and go to bed early and be a better dog owner in order to keep him, but I personally don't think I can. I cried all day to my parents, begging them to let me keep him and that I'll change but now I completely regret it because while my dog was away, me and my mother made plans to redecorate the whole house and get me into a weight losing club and to make more friends but if my dog comes and stays none of that is going to happen and I feel bad because my mother wants him gone because of how hyper and random he is but I want him to stay but at the same time I don't.
What the heck am I feeling towards my dog and what should I do about it? I feel really lazy deep, deep insnide of me but I know that I don't have the love and attention to give my dog that he personally deserves.
