So I'm 17, and pretty much all of my friends and myself have managed to get boyfriends at the same time. And so we do that "girly" thing where we sit around and talk about our boyfriends, show screen shots of cute things they said in text, and what not.

Now my friends are all about that stuff. They LOVE when their boyfriends write paragraphs about them, or get them flowers or whatever else.

I on the other hand, do NOT. It makes me uncomfortable honestly. And I'm also not a romantic myself, so honestly I could care less if my boyfriend sends me a paragraph about why he likes me. I'd just sit there like "lol, cool."

Luckily for me, my boyfriend is also not a romantic. In fact, the other day he actually APOLOGIZED to me for not being romantic enough, and I was actually confused because that's something that I like about him.

And then while my friends are hanging all over their boyfriends, sitting on their laps, and giving exsessive kisses, me and my boyfriend will hug each other in greeting and SOMETIMES we'll give each other a little peck or something, but then after that we're both kind of like "alright, now get off I need my space." We don't say that, but it's sort of a silent agreement.

And it works for us though, we've been dating several months and not had a single argument, which I know isn't a lot, but it's something.

However the reason I ask is because APPARENTLY if you didn't know we were dating, then you just wouldn't know. And like, my boyfriend is fairly attractive, so I've seen girls just walk up to him right in front of me and think we're just friends and start flirting with him, and then depending on my mood I'll either say nothing about it and let him handle himself, or I'll make a big joke of the whole situation and tell the girl all about how he was just commenting on her butt. (he never does, but we both have a good laugh about stuff like that later).

And then there's my friends who also make comments, and they always seem to hint that my boyfriend might not really care about me because of how we act around each other, and I've even been accussed of using him because he does come from a fairly wealthy family.

ANYWAY, DOES anyone else just get extremely uncomfortable when it comes to romantic things?

I was seeing a guy for 2 months. We hadn't spoken about being exclusive at that point but I was under the impression we were both only really dating each other. He introduced me to his closest friends, left me in his house while he went to work, was sleeping together, having date nights and would talk about me meeting extended friends, We also planned to do a couples massage which was his suggestion.
In the space of a week I had suddenly seen a slutty girl with no self respect (posts about hating men, loving dick, ruining lives etc) posting on his wall and flirting back and forth majorly, he had also bought her flowers. I told him we needed to talk and he told me that he has feelings for us both but saw a future with me it's just he only had met her a week before suddenly didn't know what he wanted. I told him I won't be a second option to anyone and that I was done. He said we hadn't spoken about being exclusive yet so he was allowed to keep his options open until that conversation. He kept saying he didn't want me to walk away and could see a future but just needed time to figure out his head but said not to go. I told him I'm not waiting around and that I need to move on. He kept saying he'll be in touch when he figures things out. I just walked away.

He sent me a message yesterday saying how he thinks I'm an amazing person and said he understands where I'm coming from and the reason he likes me so much was because my head was screwed on.
Was walking away the right thing to do? If he comes back would be giving him a second chance (with conditions) be worth it?

So, I just met this guy at a party in November. I did not see him twerking with anyone at this party because I wasn't paying any attention to him.

They say where you meet a person can make a real impact on you and that person's future, which I agree with. Anyway, so I personally think twerking is super sexual. The girl is grinding her butt against a guy's dick, like I think it's pretty bad, which is why it makes me uncomfortable to do it. So , I don't twerk. I dance, but I don't twerk on any guys.

I know we are young and I'm a sophomore in college and so is he, so I wouldn't ask him to give up twerking. But, while, we are dating I just feel like I should never SEE him do that with another girl...

Okay, so you know how I feel about twerking and so does he.

Here's the BIG issue: him and I go to different schools. My school is hosting a big formal party that both his school and my school will be at. We talked it over, and he just said that we should go and see what happens. But, I think that's reckless. I think if I see him twerking with several different girls, I will not want to date him anymore. And, I think if he sees several guys flirting with me, he will be jealous. I can just see this ending very badly for both of us. On top of that, since he doesn't like dancing with girls from his school, he'll be dancing with girls from MY school 😟. People who are friends with me 😩🙈.

Since, it's my schools party, I feel like he should sit this one out. Or we should stay on opposite sides of the room. Or we both don't go. Or we stop talking to each other.

Again, I know him and I are just dating now. But, I can see this being a really big problem in the future. What do you think we should do?

There's this guy and I really like him but he is a sophomore and I am a senior (both high school). Age really isn't the problem because I've only dated guys younger than me. I don't know if he likes me though. I've known him for about 10 months but have been friends with him for 5. He likes to FaceTime, talk on the phone and snapchat. One time he FT me when I was on the way home and I had just woke up and had my hair up and looked rough and he told me I looked pretty and I was 'rockin the messy bun'. He also likes to make faces at me so that I will smile. We take selfies together and when I ask him to take a picture with me he doesn't object. We got into an argument after school one day and he left and called me about 20 minutes later asking me to meet him at Chickfila so we could work things out. He likes to flick me and I punch him back and he laughs and I ask him why he does that and he said twice on two different occasions is because he thinks it's funny when I'm mad. Friday we went with a group of friends to Zoo Lights and on the way there we were talking about driving my car into the wall and I said we would die and he said 'at least we'd be together'. We were at a red light and he wanted to arm wrestle so we did, and then he took my hand (my right in his right) and waffled it. He then told me I waffled wrong and then we proceeded to wrestle. Walking to the zoo, my hand accidentally hit his and I didn't want to be awkward so I moved my hand closer to me and he swung his back so his would hit mine. He exclaimed out loud 'are you trying to hold my hand?' and I said 'no...' and then he took my hand and said 'well you waffle wrong anyway' and held my hand while we continued to walk. We aren't dating but our team asks if we are or if we're a thing. He's supposedly told friends he doesn't like me but he doesn't really flirt with other girls. If y'all could give me advice and/or opinions that would be great!:) Thank you!! PS He just asked what I wanted for Christmas
