I still love him but we are not together and truthfully I don't know if we ever would be again. Our bu was not bad, but he was the one to break up with me. He went through a lot of stress and closed off and then told me he wasn't feeling what he thought he should at the point in our relationship and felt like we were not growing. I find to be crazy bc b4 we were great together. Having fun lots in common him saying he's falling for me more everyday. Everyone saw us how happy. We connected on every level and have so many things in common. Dislikes and alikes. He is my one and one that got away. Anyway he initiated contact after bu. We have been broken up fro 4 months now. During this time we still talked and had sex a few times. worked with him for 3 weeks and people saw the connection still with us by just our looking at each other. Well he texted me asking to talk the other night and asked if i was ok with everything. I said i honestly still had feelings and always will have them for you but i can separate the 2. He said we could talk more later and texted me last night saying its prob not a good idea to do it since i have feelings still even if I can separate the 2. He is so confusing one day its one thing and the other its different. We were so great together and now nothing. I still want to just tell him whatver else is on my mind and leave it at that and if he ever wants anything then so be it. Why is he confusing and going from one thing to the next? Is he confused or what?

I study in England but I'm home in Germany during summer. Shortly before I left for my summerbreak I spent 2 romantic evenings/nights with one of my classmates (no sex, just kissing and talking a lot.) It felt like we were both falling for eachothers quite hard. He even gave me his necklace when I left.
Unfortunately we haven't been texting a lot because he is not into social media and doesn't even use whatsapp (fairly old fashioned!)
The last time I've heard from him was mid. June. I haven't tried to contact him since then.
I think and dream of him all the time but I am afraid I'd do something wrong if I'd text him. I'm also afraid that he met somebody new and I'll be heartbroken...
But now I've booked my flight back to England (end of August) and I'd love to know if I'll see him again (+ what I can expect when I'm back) so I'm thinking of texting him. Just a short message, like "Hey how are you, just booked my flight back to England."

YES: Ofc you should write him
NO: Wait and see if he contacts you

I would say he's a bit shy (certainly NOT a very experienced guy who thinks he's the best - but still a cute guy with a very good sense for fashion)
I'm just really afraid I'm annoying him / making myself look "boring" if I text him again :/
