This girl and I were best friends since 5th grade. We graduated high school in 2016. Neither of us go to college and we work. We have a lot of great memories together. We live like 5 minutes from each other. We got into a major blowout over something stupid and didn’t talk from May 2016 until July of 2018. She contacted me out of nowhere last year and wanted to hang out and we were fine and I gave her the benefit of the doubt and We both hung out every single day after work but it was too much we started fighting again and she was acting like the mean monster she can be and she wasn’t mentally sane. We said nasty things and broke up in December. Here we are in May and she calls my house and I wasn’t home at the time but my parents answered it. I changed my cell phone number because I got on an entire new plan and she didn’t know it. My parents said to me your 21 years old it’s your life and they don’t really like her but they never really have. I do worry about her but I’m not sure if she’s mentally there or why she is reaching out to me. Should I even bother calling her back and trying to make it work for a 3rd time? She can be very mean and nasty and bossy when she doesn’t get her way. She’s like a ticking time bomb. I’ll admit I can also not be the easiest person to get along with but I also know she has no friends. She is socially awkward as well as myself. I don’t wish anything bad on her and I do worry about her but she told me to kill myself when she was mad and sometimes I feel like she uses me. Her parents are also horrible parents. I don’t know if I should call back. The ball is in my court?

Ok, this is a very serious question because girls are born and bred, instinctively to give off, both body and indirect verbal, signals that we expect others around us to understand. And for the most part other girls will know them immediately when given off by another girl. It's sort of like an antenna that picks up an alert signal and interprets it's meaning with no need of fan fare between the female species.

Now with guys, it's a different story. Guys are wired differently so they need someone to walk up to them and grab them by the shoulders, look them straight in the eyeballs and say..."Ok, here is exactly what I am thinking and what I am wanting from you right now!" Guys think they are in heaven when they find a girl like this, and voila' ... like pulling a rabbit out of a hat, whatever you want, in many cases, will be yours!

Now, reality sets in... here is what the guy gets instead...HIM: "What would you like for your birthday sweetie?", HER: "Oh nothing, I'm ok", HIM: "Are you sure, I mean you must want something?", HER: Nope, I can't think of anything, don't worry about it, honey, I don't need a thing". Now another girl hearing this would be laughing hysterically.

But here is what happens with the guy... her birthday comes and guess what occurs when you have got her nothing? ...HELLO! ARE YOU THERE GUYS? ...and don't tell me "Nothing will happen". If you think that, you are in for a big surprise!!

Here's what she meant..."I shouldn't have to tell you to get me something, or even what that something should be, you should do it no matter what to prove to me that you love me regardless". In other words, the whole thing was a test! HELLO AGAIN? ARE YOU THERE GUYS?

Are there exceptions to the rule? ... of course, not all girls send out these signals and not all guys fail to be able to read them. But for the most part THAT IS THE RULE, AND DON'T FORGET IT if you know what's good for you... lol
