— I got an email from my university saying they’re launching a new program for “students of color/ LGBTQ+ students/ First generation college students/ Religious minorities/ Students with disabilities” and essentially stated you had to be in one of those categories to apply. The program is to help introduce students to faculty and promote relationships for the future.

— My school has a study lounge for black people only.

— Some have argued affirmative action is a form of discrimination.

Assuming that these are, by definition, acts of discrimination, are they justified? What about discrimation in the broader sense? Why or why not?

Paying on dates, paying in relationships and paying during marriage combined with paying after divorce, makes the whole idea of dealing with women a bit unattractive.

Not to mention, the fact that she can call you an asshole/prick without any social consequences but if you call her a bitch/whore it would damage your social image in feminist society.

She can even slap you and get away with it.

Nagging without consequences. If we did the same we would be termed CONTROLLING.

Arguing with hurtful words and false accusations without any consequences. We would be called ABUSIVE.

Just a few of the ways in which men face widespread social discrimination and have to live in fear of women

According to several articles, misandry along with other forms of discrimination may become hate crimes in the UK. Many feminists are actually panicking over this because they assume that the law will be “exploited” or “abused” by the men’s rights activists.

In my opinion, I think this is a step forward for UK society. While the censorship surrounding the Revisions sounds a bit too extreme, at least it’s starting to be acknowledged that men face discrimination too.

This trial is set to last for three weeks. The main issue brought up by the Asian-American students is that Harvard rated Asian students lower on personality which decreases their chances of being admitted in the college despite scoring higher than other groups.

This is the most vocal the Asian-American community has been in a while when it comes to social issues. Normally Asian-Americans ignore anything negative that’s directed to them but now, many Asian-Americans have united for this. As a college student myself who is part Asian, I’m glad many Asian Americans are starting to speak out against this subtle discrimination and prejudice rooted in “political correctness”. Even if the Asian-American students lose this lawsuit, at least the public will know that Asian-Americans have had enough of being treated as expendable.

I don’t know what are the chances of the court case going in favor of the students based on the fact that Harvard is one of the most prestigious colleges in the world and perhaps have a lot of resources and support at their disposal. Do you think the Asian American students will be able to win the suit?

Women say they want equality, One example is they’d like a female president, but a female has to earn that title.
Wanting to be handed what someone has earned is not equality, it’s privilege.

True equality is earned,
If someone works hard for something, you can’t just expect to be handed what they’ve earned

That’s privilege
All people won't be equal, when you work harder, you earn more
It wouldn’t be fair for you to be handed what somebody else has worked for

If by equality you mean , you wouldn’t like to be discriminated, then that’s a whole different conversation, Not wanting to be treated differently because of your gender has nothing to do with equality, that’s discrimination.
