In my honest opinion, Age does matter as it can have a multitude of impacts on you, for instance a person 2 years older than I am, means (assuming they die of old age and nothing else), they will die before I do, not to mention I would feel like the person older than me is a pedophile because she is dating someone way younger than she is (even though am 25), on the other hand a person 2 years younger than me makes me feel like I’m a pedophile, because I’m dating someone way younger than I am.

I know I seem to be a very worrysome guy, and I know so long as I am not dating anyone under the age of 18, I won’t be considered a pedophile, and I know people won’t care if i choose to date someone 10-20-30 or so years older than I am, I just personally prefer to be more safe than sorry.

When I was younger, if I met a girl, I was either immediately attracted to her or it was never going to happen. She did not need to open her mouth and say one word for me to know. I just looked at her and I knew I was physically attracted or I knew I was not physically attracted. Of course, physical attraction is only one part of a relationship and there was much else to discover.

As I got older, I actually dated a woman to whom I did not feel an immediate physical attraction and after dating for a few months, I realized that I was strongly attracted to her. When I looked at her, I realized that most other guys would not consider her to be attractive, but I thought she was cute and I wanted a physical relationship with her. Ultimately, the relationship failed but not because of the physical attraction.
