If it were for me, I would come up with a good name that's not too short and not too common. One of my friends told me a story of how her parents came up with her name and it was interesting. In my case however, my father wanted to still follow the family tree. He named me after my late grandmother (his mother) for two reasons: he already decided that he was going to name me after her if a girl and because I reminded him of her when I was born.

Similarly he named my teenager brother after our late paternal grandfather but in the English version.
