I was passing by my middle school recently with the bus and the 12-14 year old girls that went on looked like they could be 20! They looked older than me tbh. 😩 All the perfect makeup and contouring. And their conversations were like "omg your IG post yesterday, ass looked so fucking big, babe you so thiccc" 😍

Like they look so olddd, Im having 13-14 year old boys hitting on me these days because they think Im probably their age (cause Im short), and when they get to know my age they're like oh shit, really? Wasn't like that AT ALL when I was 13.

Im pretty sure its good to go through the awkward self discovery stage so you eventually become your own person, nowadays these girls are trying to look like every instagram model out there, and look "thic" like they do in the music videos and instagram. To be honest when I was 13 the bodies of women in media didn't even bother me or my friends one bit...

They're just so look and social media obsessed and stressing about everything looking "on fleek", I don't really see them living their kid life while they can and they look like they're in SUCH a damn rush to grow up and being obsessed about being Insta famous and "dating" a guy with a six pack /or a girl with "curves"...

Is this something that happens for every generation or is there something about the age of heavy social media that are changing kids? Will these girls look back at their old pics and look at them the way I look back in my awkward phase or not?

Disclaimer: Yes I know not every preteen and teen out there is like this but many are.

My best guy friend calls me his best friend tells me he loves me says I'm perfect makes sure we spend holidays together and has befriended my husband He recently got into a fight with his girlfriend Who I am friends with and suddenly blocked me from Facebook and told me I'm perfect and he loves me enough to let me keep my friendship with his girlfriend in case they don't work out I'm still blocked on Facebook but he has since started following me on other sites i texted him and got this response right away which said. I'm still here around alive. then a short little joke with a picture of himself and about 10 more back-and-forth texts I was the last one not to respond and have not heard from him since it's been two days and I'm still blocked from Facebook. Why does he no longer want me in his life? He's put a lot of effort into making sure we can be friends meaning that it's OK with my husband and his girlfriend. why would he end our friendship so sudden?

Everyone's dream in life is to be rich but most aren't willing to put in the work or effort to become rich, instead they just sit around and envy/ be jealous of people with more money than them. But most people to worship rich people like they're goods.

lets say there's a guy who's 25, he wears 800 dollar shirts, 40 dollar shoes and posts pictures like this. Would you consider someone like him to have the perfect life? If a person is wearing clothes wroth thousands of dollars does that mean that person is amazing and better off than you because you aren't wearing those types of clothes?
