Guys when you love a girl is she really more beautiful than other girls in your eyes?

I mean women are self conscious creatures thanks to the media, porn, and every form of communication telling us we need to be thinner, prettier, more toned, have bigger breasts and asses, etc. My boyfriend told me I was perfect and that I'm beautiful. It's so flattering and it makes me feel better, but it always feels like a lie. Like he's saying it just to make me feel better or something? He doesn't sound insincere but I know there are thousands or more of prettier, skinner, curvier, sexier women than me. He doesn't go out and drink with the boys, he doesn't leave the house, he plays pool with the boys in the living room while I do my own thing. He goes to work and comes home. He doesn't watch porn, like ever. It's just so weird... like every guy I've ever met says all men watch porn, but he turns his head or ignores naked women. I just showed him a picture of a girl in workout attire and he turned his head and asked me why I showed him that. Like it made him upset I would show him a woman that wasn't me..

I haven't experienced this before. Is it really how he feels or just to make me feel special? Even when he thought I was asleep he turned down looking at a photo of a naked girl his brother tried to show him... He always compliments me during love making, even when I try to cover up and he never gets mad or irritated. We've been together three years and I just can't figure him out. I want it to be real, but I'm so afraid it's an act. Maybe I'm just paranoid because it seems too good to be true? Really would like to know a guys point of view. He's gotten a lot nicer to me since he got his new job. He asks me if I want anything, he's been talking about kids, and the other day he was super open and vulnerable during love, apologizing for as he put it "being a dick" because we were having a rough patch on and off before he got his new job... Being more beautiful than other women don't really depend on what she does, the only things she can do to keep her beauty is looking after herself to not become fatter (or if she is quite fat, she will become more beautiful if she become thinner) and not to cut her hair short if she has long hair. Anyway, I prefer to compliment about her honesty , her ability of understanding people, etcetera than about her beauty.

You have made me surprise to be said by your boyfriend to be most beautiful girl in the world, despite you don't really like to be said it. If I were you, I would repeatly tell him he doesn't need to tell it to you if he doesn't really think it, because you just want him to love you, but be loved just for being beautiful is not real love.

Yes of course. Quit over thinking this. A regular guy needs three things from you - provide those and he'll be putty in your hands:
1. Sex. Yes, lots of sex. Every which way, whenever he wants it. He has some 15-25 times as much testosterone as you do - the sex-drive hormone. It's just not a choice for him.

Yea i get it. Insecurity and low self esteem can destroy relationships. In my case my ex never really believed that i was in love with her and never fully trusted me because she used to say i could probly have anyone i wanted and she thought i would cheat on her or leave her for someone else. From my experience, an emotional bond to a girl is really powerful when our personalities click with each other, as 'Im_notready' put it really well, it's more than just looks that makes someone attractive.
I remember her personality, kindness and sense of humor and beauty made me feel really strongly for her, I couldn't stop thinking about her, she was special because we clicked so well with each other. From personal experience and from watching other couples, a husband or boyfriend who porn always hurts the woman. Her emotions, her trust in him, her confidence, her enthusiasm for sex, it all plummets. As for your situation no sex... that's reasonable.
