Im starting back in 2020 a guy at my school saw me at cafeteria and asked me for my number however he asked me to write down my number in a letter because he left his cell phone to his bag I wrote down the number he never texted me. I thought he was an interesting guy. Covid happened we all went back home so I didn’t really bother why he never messaged me. This semester I was at cafeteria again but with my friend who also knows him, he said hi talk to me a little gave me his phone to enter in my number. He messaged me a Week Later.. but very shortly mostly asking about a class. He changed his mind to give me a book he promised. And that was it. We basically messaged a day only. When he said I am not giving the book I said that’s ok I understand he replied “ you are so sweet”. Well pretty much that’s all. He has never messaged me since then it’s been a week again. He is kinda younger than me maybe 4 years younger so I was wondering maybe that’s why he isn’t really interested in me.. I look young I’m told a lot even my voice is very soft maybe he didn’t knew.. at first!
What do your guys think was the poor guy just trying to be friendly? He is not a shy guy I know that he is not waiting for me to message first.

Exchanged numbers with a quiet dude on the shy side. He works at a supermarket.

He had been sneaking glances for awhile then was a bit more overt and was even clearly flustered before I started striking up conversations with him.

All the body language is good or whatever and I had ZERO doubt he was very interested. The inly thing was that he never asked. me about myself but he has been observing me for a awhile.

Told his co worker I was interested in the hopes it would make him more relaxed once word got back to him.

It made him super nervous since he was hiding from me a but but I struck up a convo and got some stuff from his station.

The next time he saw me he left his station to run into me and was super comfortable.

Anyway, we exchanged numbers. He was a bit amazed and watched me walk out of the store the whole time.

I messaged him first and he replied.

*There is a langauge barrier*.

I messaged him asking about his profile photo because it seemed to be a joke in his language and I wanted to get it.

He took it that I meant I wanted his photo which he sent instantly (suspect since it was him in this really crisp outfit that he clearly didn't take right then) then he asked for mine.

I don't send photos and I said there was a misunderstanding since I didn't want his photo.

He responded with 'hhhhhh' and has gone dead silent.

Sent a message a day later complimenting him saying "I already know you're cute I don't need a photo. Let's talk later?"

I've been left on read for days so I don't expect to hear back.

Been chatting with a guy for 3 years and then he disappeared without saying a word. He literally vanished, stopped replying to my messages, then I send him a message from another account just to see if he is fine and alive... I was that worried for him as it was not in his nature to act like that! He replied back and I was relieved that he's alive and decided to give him some time hoping that he would message me on his own.

But nope he did not do that, then I messaged him asking for explanation or anything even a small bye would ve been enough.

He should ve the decency to say that he wants to stop chatting or talking to me. But no he acted like a coward and I hate him for that.

We were friends and behaved like friends too but while he disappeared he treated me worse than a person, he never considered me as his friend as if he did then he would have said something before just vanishing in thin air !!

What would you do in my place?
