Im the guy version and I think at "that" level, guys have it way easier. The amount of attention I get and instant social status with respect from people i meet wherever i go is awesome. I also get to choose which girls i interact with, and theyre usually excited when i talk to them, or theyre giving clear inviting signs to go talk them before i approach.

But imagine what the girl equivalent to that would be, instead of getting heavily checked out, getting hit on by straight foward girls, and always getting inviting signals from girls, getting to choose who i want to interact with..

it would be every time you go out you get hit on a lot by some random guys whos probly not cute or dont want. You will likely get stalkers and creepers. you're also more vulnerable if you run into a weirdo. When you go to a club guys hit on you non stop. I feel girls would be more uncomfortable being stared at all the time. I feel a girl would probably not enjoy guys staring at her chest, butt, and crotch like a lot of girls openly stare at my croutch or muscles.

I work with a 27 year old woman who I think may like me but, as is so often the case, there are a lot of mixed signals. One thing that makes me particularly suspicious is that she often takes advantage of handing me things, or me handing her things, to touch hands. Lately these touches linger slightly longer than they have to, I feel. Also, we work together quite closely at times and when I am at her desk going through a document sometimes she manages to touch my fingers as well as my hands are showing her things on the paper. I don't believe that the incidence of this is accidental. Prior to her beginning to show the other signs of interest (when I first knew her she was in a relationship) we worked together for five months without touching once.

Now, we are friendly, so is this something that a girl would do with a friend? It sems unlikely to me as I would think girls would be aware that touching in an unacknowledged way but in a sensitive area like the fingers would at best cause confusion in a guy and probably get him thinking along the lines I am.

The only other place she has touched me so far was a couple of weeks ago, one morning, she arrived at work and told me and a colleague that she was cold. To demonstrate that she touched me with her hand on my upper arm. I was wearing a t shirt and she contacted with skin, not shirt. I have never seen her touch anyone else at work but I am probably closer to her than others so that doesn't necessarily mean anything. Could this all just be her playing me to make herself feel good - we all like contact right? Or are girls more in control of themselves than that?
