Search Results: nice things guys want to hear

I'm wondering if these are just words or lines, but I've had many guys tell me I'm a heartbreaker or look like one, and that it would be stupid, "shooting themselves in the foot" stupid to start anything with me. The arrogant, or players are what I have after my tail frequently, but then the actual nice and quieter guys I'm interested in, probably less "lady killers" in terms of looks, never take me seriously. I'm not an annoying dumb attractive woman either. I'm intelligent and fun to be around. I don't see why I keep failing with the guys I go after. I don't mind taking initiative either, actually I usually do when I find a guy I actually like. My type is always the quieter reserved, spends most time alone, type of guy. And they show me interest but never take it further, or give me really bad mixed signals or go extremely slow to the point where I take it as disinterest. Is there such thing as being too attractive for some guys? Like they think you're just on some power trip and will like them for a couple of weeks then trash them? Because I had one guy tell me we shouldn't continue talking because I would just fall out of feeling after a couple of weeks anyways. (He did come back a month later and has been after me ever since, but I didn't give him a chance because I thought what he said and thought was very shallow).

I like this guy in my gride and we used to be friends then this year we kinda just talked less cause we aren't in the same class. Thing is, he made it seem like he liked me. He stares at me a lot, he's always really nice to me, when it's just us two or us with a few people, he uses a really sweet tone on me that I don't hear him use on any other girls. He also knows that I like him.

Problem is, he always seems to be weird around me now. He goes awkward and he kinda just doesn't pay attention to me? He still looks at me quite a bit, but like, I tried talking to him and he just nodded and kinda moved away but then he ended up staying in the same spot. His friends have also told me that he finds me annoying, that I scare him and that I piss him off next week him and a few guys are hanging out and he apparently said he didn't want me to go? And one of his friends told me why he does but it was only 2 things and it's not enough for him to think I'm annoying.

One of my friends said that maybe there's another reason he's telling his friends that? And if he actually thought that about me, he wouldn't tell his friends and if he did he'd tell them not to tell me that he said that? Weird though, cause when we do talk, he's always so sweet, it really seems like me likes me. What should I do? When I told him he liked me, he was full on staring into my eyes at one point. Could he like me? Are his friends making it up? One of his friends also videoed me saying I'd smash him and he said he'd show him? Why would he ask that?
